Hello Citizen!
Today we delve into the meaning behind Einstein's famous equation: E=MC2. Let's try and grok Mass-Energy Equivalence, as we look at what this means about the universe around us. Let's look at the many forms energy can take.

Sorry but he is wrong, mass is not the measurement of matter, mole is the measurement of matter, while mass is the measurement of inertia, inertia simply means, how much effort or force is needed to accelerate or alter any objects motion

I look forward to watching more of such wonders of physics....😊😊 Science is not at all scary or difficult... unfortunately we indulge ourselves learning science for our school exams...we need to broaden our view of thinking n analysing things...we are all surrounded by matter ..we are a part of this universe 😊... science is really interesting...n is interconnected with every concept in our day to day lives...😊

I like this idea! I've spent a lot of time calculating the average electricity usage of my 1st world lifestyle. Don't ask why. But these things come up in books like Abundance and Bold by Peter Diamandis and Steven Kotler. They're a bit older at this point, but some very cool ideas about how we can transcend scarcity and live a life of abundance.

We're into it! Really big on speculative biology. There was some really neat stuff in Richard Dawkins' "Ancestor's Tale" that discusses interesting ideas about why certain biological adaptations tended to evolve in different branches. And we've definitely done some research for a quantum physics video. This is a rabbit hole we've spent quite some time in; from Richard Feynman to Brian Greene.

Well done guys. I love how you used some simplicity to demonstrate what this formula is supposed to be about. You are right in that, if the formula held any validity , a paperclip should be able to boil all the water in lake Tahoe . And since it can't , and never will , the formula is complete crap. It's that simple . PS: The speed of light is not the cosmic speed limit either . Einstein got that one wrong too. I'll wait until I reveal one day what truly is the fastest thing in the universe . Until then ... I'll be hanging out at the singularity

Could there be a geometrical aspect to Einstein’s equation, E=MC² energy equals mass times the speed of light squared? The C squared can represent light radiating out in every direction forming a sphere 4πr². We have square the radius r² of the sphere because the process is relative to the spherical surface. The interior of the sphere is naturally three-dimensional forming the three dimensions of our everyday life. If we place the Lorentz contraction ˠ of space and time ∆E ∆t ≥ h/2π between the energy ∆E and mass ∆M we link time within the process. The surface of the sphere can form a boundary condition or manifold for the process of energy exchange that forms our ever-changing world. We measure this process as a ‘period of time’ with the atoms of the periodic table being standing waves in time. The spontaneous absorption and emission of light photon ∆E=hf energy is forming potential photon energy into the kinetic energy of electrons. Kinetic Eₖ=½mv² energy is the energy of what is actually happening. An uncertain ∆×∆pᵪ≥h/4π probabilistic future is continuously coming into existence with the exchange of photon energy.

Maybe? I would have to get Alan to check the math. But geometry definitely plays a role. Geometry and dimensions are linked. It would be true to say that dimensions have geometry, from the unfurled dimensions of spacetime to the tiny curled up dimensions that exist at the sub-atomic scale (according to string theory). Even the theories about the 'curvature' of the universe itself present some geometry. Naturally the limits of energy would seem to be bound by those dimensions, just like the speed of light is. So this relationship of C² comes from something inherent to that dimensionality.

The reason that (e.g. "microscopic" and "quantum" ) size scales are only physically defined as purely relative to each other, i.e. in terms of their role in emergent diversity of "structure" native to (as only possible at) these various self-relative (such as our "macroscopic") size scales is the fact that the most elementary geometry of the SUM's* self-relative motion is that of the horn toroidal fluid vortex (HTV), which is more or less spherical and circular, i.e. as a hypersphere. If we wish to construct (approximations of) other geometric structures, such as a cube or other straight-edge polyhedron, we can do so by arranging multiple (more than one) of these simple particulate HTVs into a lattice** whose outer surfaces become closer and closer approximations to perfectly straight lines and flat planes the greater the number of HTV's of a given standard baseline "size" that we incorporate into the lattice. This 'purely self-relative' function of size scale in structure is perfectly described by the Fourier Series. And this carries right down to the 'quantum mechanical' scales where the self-relative motion (accelerating/acceleration-) flow trajectories of an otherwise scale uniform medium begin to take on (i.e. non-uniform) 'structure' as such. It is at this 'wave/particle-transition' scale also that we first 'see' elementary "particulate" HTVs (a.k.a. "mass particles") "in motion" -- i.e. with-as-through the flow-geodesics of the surrounding 'empty space' SUM -- "with respect to each other" *'scale-uniform medium' -- a.k.a. "spacetime" ** NOTE - thereby "also" affecting the "network" structural principle as being "distributed - in - space - over - time"* * * * * * (thereby "also" phenomenologically manifesting "extension in space [over time]")* * * * * * * * NOTE: I also refer to this emergent [physical/phenomenological, if you will] "proliferation of structural diversity" in terms of, and by means of, the ("otherwise") SUM's self-relative motion as ""the bifurcational proliferation of complementarities". Please also check out (read carefully, tolerantly -- it's a work in progress -- and thoughtfully) my "Anthropos Cartographer" meta-philosophy (a.k.a. 'Experiential Meta-Mechanics'; a.k.a. 'The Quantum Philosophy'; a.k.a. 'Networkology' ) in the comments at "What is a Worldview" (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d7xxoLxirdypqH0.html) Unlike man's previous 'philosophies', this one explicitly recognizes, defines, and declares itself to be a human intelligence self-engineering technology. Thanks
