I think this wasn't the best video to show Shadow flame's dps, so if you want to see it better, watch this short: • ANCIENT GUARDIAN IN 40...
But this video was the best to show the advantage in terms of the distance this attack can reach and its potential in a single target, also deciding to go after a new strategy in shadow pieces, because many people were unable to do the last one. that I posted on the channel consistently, and that's not their fault, because if you end up getting a team that always has Bernie on the last hit instead of hitting and provoking, you'll definitely have a lot of headaches, so I hope you like this new strat, and more videos with shadow flames will be released soon

You inspired me to try running fuelweaver with Willow. I always played Willow before skill tree even but never thought I'd see being able to speedrun in any meaningful way as her but your videos really showed me that it's possible and that even shadow flame willow can be fun trying to run it! I love it and I sure hope I get to have a good run to share myself someday using some of your tips :)

I love the new willow magic style , but at this point all of the dst cast is just racing to be the best in cambat. Even wormwood is good at that now! If they ll let Wes be good throu skill tree , and not give him anty-skill tree , with gimps and stuff , it would just get ridiculus. It already does . I guess only willson doesnt have any combat abilityes i think. Let the flames feast upon your darkest thoughts.

Well i d say she wasnt that bad. I actually came to love her closer to skill tree. Rushing ruins with her kit was fun , and overall she was one of the more independent and creativity rewarding characters. Now she has really strong meta. I dont like really strong metas. But fine , she's fun i guess.

Man eu recomendo usar o mod don't starve alone, por conta que ele tira o lag dos servidores, pois obtemos esse atraso no jogo por conta que hospedamos dois servidores ao mesmo tempo (caves e superficie) e com esse mod ele ira congelar um desses servidores deixando seu jogo liso, então é bem mais facil cancelar, fora isso é mais questão de time mesmo, você aprender o time e ir treinando, para alguns tipo de cancelamento o predictive tem que estar ativo, como oque eu postei aqui no canal sobre como cancelar inspecionando item

They do the damage than lunar does but instantly, use less embers I think? And it might have a faster cooldown as well as having more range with the downside of not being able to aim or pierce

actually, shadow flames might be better, because it deals more damage (750 in total now) and that damage is dealt almost instantly, so in a case where you are fighting a single big enemy, you can cast the ability and then keep fighting, which can't be done with lunar flames, as attacking will stop the lunar flames

@@thin_and_runny so it's a case of aoe versus single (ish but not quite) target? i still think lunar comes out on top just because area of affect is kinda invaluable in dst

@Hexagrontley I did think of that but hear me out, willow already has great aoe abilities (combustion spell), so Imo shadow flames are now better (they were definitely worser before but with the new path finding and increased damage, I think it is better now)

@@Hexagrontley she can even use lesser flames to deal with groups of enemies. It works surprisingly well , and costs nothing. Hi Ameslarii I have a request for you. Do you think the lunar fun cap would be a good tool against crap king? Since he doesn’t directly attack you’re not in any danger of being vulnerable to attack from using it instead of a weapon, could a horde of bunnymen or pigs on a boat be strong enough to be worth using?

I think it can work perfectly, just changing some orders, such as prioritizing canceling his healing first and then freezing him, instead of the basic thing of freezing him and then healing him, and with hordes of monsters it seems to work even better

This is ablolutely NOTHING in comparison to lunar fire. Has no aoe, no control on the flame🤷‍♂️ willow with lunar fire is the strongest character in the game in my opinion🤷‍♂️ wolfgang and wingfrid will have a lot of problem with packs of enemies. Lunar Willow is just destroying packs of everything in one or two blows😎
