@ KPOP WEALTH, for the past three years we were wondering if BTS were going to be exempt from mandatory military service! We got what you call a bone throne to BTS and to the ARMYS , by the government allowing them to post pone as well as all K-pop male groups to the age of 30. Considering all that BTS have done for South Korea the financial, economic commodity that they have spread throughout the world! 5 billion alone as a group yearly! Do you think that they would want to keep BTS out of the military for what they have all done not to mention they have a cultural merit that would exempt them that’s very confusing to me maybe someone can explain that to me because I am not a South Korean! I don’t understand how Korean soccer players or symphony virtuosos can get exempt but BTS who have actually won over 1000 awards not just South Korean awards but other countries including the United States which is the biggest music industry in the world! I just don’t understand how a South Korean soccer player who doesn’t even win a championship gets exempt from the military?! There’s not much we can do they’re serving they’re doing their duty as a South Korean citizen and hopefully one day there won’t be a mandatory military service! I hope and pray💜🙏🏼 These are my opinions whether you agree with them or not, why is it that this channel doesn’t have more subscribers do you have a lot of interesting Contant about K-pop I’d like to know more about the scandals that just took place last year a famous actor who was innocent of a crime but yet he made the decision to leave this world by his own hand!!!smfh🤦🏻‍♀️

In my opinion: BTS has contributed largely to the popularity of Kpop and has improved Korea's reputation globally... so they should have been not given military service. They could have rather taken a small hiatus for some rest as they have been producing music continuously for a decade.. Why exempt athletes but not BTS??!? It is not fair. I miss BTS so much!!!

My opinion BTS, SHOULD HAVE MORE PRIVACY in the military service , we global army's love them and respect them , worry for their privacy and safety they deserve it ! BTS! Have comply with their duties so they deserve privacy!🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴💕🥰

The conscription of BTS is shining a very bright light on the SK military. They are (I hope) being treated well during service and I'm sure their government officials are aware of the consequences of BTS's very loud bullhorn they will have available to talk about military conditions once they are released from service. The book, video and script deals, not just from their own country, but from other countries as well, will be hard to turn down. (jmo).

They have mandatory militory service to keep South Korea safe the second they change that law and military service goes down North Korea will take advantage and attack unfortunately the country they were born into is in constant danger and this is their way to keep it safe. I am proud of BTS and even if they would have been exempt they probanly would have served anyways because they are 7 men with an incredible amount of integrety

I still think it was wrong for BTS to leave for the military. They represented South Korea financially and world wide a whole lot more than an Olympic gold medal or classical music. South Korea used BTS and still are. They miss all that money coming in so they put forth that stamp collection for no other reason but for the money they’re missing from them being away. Just wait in 2025 they’ll promote this big comeback for BTS for all the money they can get from BTS. Just DISGUSTING

Yes, I agree. They should have never been forced to go. It’s true that the South Korea is not yet free of danger. However, BTS did so much for their country. They worked very hard and thanks to them, South Korea was put in the map. They are not like any other group. When the hiatus thing came out, they looked exhausted. They never get to experience a “normal “ life. They were pressured every day not just because of the job requirement but also because by the weight society has put on their shoulders. Them being exempted would be the best decision because they brought prestige home but the government chose to ignore it. Why? Because they never wanted supported BTS. If they did, they would simply change the Law. It’s just not fair to exempt classical musicians , Olympic champions or people in fine arts and now gamers but BTS was never exempted. I very much doubt that it wasn’t planned so that their iconic fame would fade as BTS had always been a pain point for so many people and yesterday, I saw a video showing a clip of some Imbecil disrespecting BTS ~ and he was from same country BTS is from! Imagine if a highly positioned person from my country, Portugal would say bad things that weren’t even true and Amalia Rodrigues, an important figure in our own music? It would be an outrage. So, Korea should show some gratitude towards BTS . They never asked for exemption because they knew that if they did, heads would roll and they have enough problems as it is. Not to mention the way the enlistment was handled by the government sounded and still sounds very suspicious. Besides, if I lived in an endangered country, I wouldn’t be picky about exemptions for heathy people. Exemptions should only be given to extreme health cases

@@suepage8977nothing that is mandatory is a choice , they seem to alble to choose which military branch to apply for but unfortunately, it’s mandatory by Law due to the tense between both koreas.

Zgadzam się z tobą we wszystkim co napisałaś. Ponadto wojsko rządzi się swoimi prawami gdzie poborowy nie ma nic do gadania. Rozkaz mądry czy głupi należy wykonać. Mogą być poniżani, wykorzystywani bo zwykle wojskowi to tępe głowy. Do tego dochodzi presja oczekiwań wszystkich, że musisz być najlepszy. Jak ich szanują widać po przydziałach w wojsku. Zajechać do końca. Jedyna okazja pokazać kto tu rządzi. Dwa lata to długo dla artysty a świat nie stanie w miejscu i nie poczeka. Smutne to.🤧😪

They should have gotten an exemption. First of all they have brought South Korea, the language and their culture all over the world. Secondly, the money they bring in for South Korea is much more valuable than 7 extra soldiers if there would be an attack of the North.

A difficult and domestic political process, on the one hand I understand the military aspect, given the growing tensions and trouble spots worldwide, on the other hand, I am a BTS fan, to what extent does this forced break harm the artists, it is undisputed, BTS is one of, if not the best, Kpop Boy groups in the world are fashion ambassadors and certainly cultural creators and this is an important, if not the most important, aspect that cannot be ignored! But as I said, it's a domestic political, Korean matter, I would be happy for BTS and other groups not to have to take any forced breaks in the future! For peace, for the people... Worldwide🙏❤️

They really hadn’t no choice at all! Military is mandatory, even they get an exemption due to Seok- jins age and had a chance to manage the times they are going. They saw what happened to other celebs who tried to avoid their enlistment in the past, all members are intelligent enough to make such a mistake. Plus they are proud Koreans and Tae-hyung really wanted to do it!

they exempted gamers, didn't they? if SK really cares about readiness they;d be training women, even if it is only to defend the home and family. I do however support BTS' choice to serve.

More privacy, also people who say: rm wrote speech from his own will. My answer to those people: NOTHING in the mandatory army is from the free will, if your higher up, like colonel says: Namjoon we ask ypu to write a speech...do you think he really has space to refuse? No he doesn't, also his speech had some really anti military lines, and were even cut when were broadcadted on the news. I am as citizen of the country at war, never wosh for any country to have mandatory military service, and beg anyone not to romanticise it, cause there is nothing romantic about it. I expect that my country also will have obligatory military trainig for foreseeable decades, but i wouldn't want if i was made a poster boy for a gov propoganda out of my duty

I hope one day we can all live in peace without a need for young men & women to serve. But until then, there are countries who need to maintain a military force. I feel that if the SK government is going to have a mandatory requirement, it should apply to all men (and those women who chose to serve). It seems unfair to exempt certain sportsmen, classical musicians etc but not internationally successful musicians. However, I don’t live in SK. I do remember the draft in US during the Vietnam war. It was very unsettling to say the least. We know how that turned out for many young men. How our government used these men and women . Of course social media did not exist as it does today. I am an ARMY and would love to hear from all 7 of the guys but I think it’s best that social media let them serve their country in peace. Maybe a Weverse or IG message every now & then on special occasions. Of course being a marketing major, I know how social media keeps you relevant. Balance is important to the psyche . I wait until the guys choose to communicate or not. I’ll still be waiting for their return. Thx💜🇺🇸

Without mentioning military service during their last Festa, I tend to believe that given their state of mind during that Festa, even if they'd won a grammy, they would have still enlisted...duty to country and a seemingly much needed hiatus by some. But aside from wealthy Idols who are forced to pause their careers, I find great concern for young men who have spent at least a decade studying many long hours for college entrance exams, entering college, career searching and establishment, desiring a home of their own and starting a family.....when do THEY pause their life?....when is a reasonable time? I don't think that mandatory service is necessary. S. Korea has the American forces on their border and I believe with volunteer military, they can safely protect their country.

Opinions about the society is wrong vocabulary, because people in level can make own choices and decisions what best for the men vocabulary, should Qualifying who can make or not choices of. Putting a music male group make worldwide in military, my opinions BTS and others males needs more ways than vocabulary,

even after BTS serves, SK is left with the fact its population is falling sharply and its unwise choice to #1 not train women #2 not to keep having children affordable and thus support its dwindling population #3 exempt people for ridiculous reasons but #4 refuse to exempt people who achieve even more profound milestones. The reality is that with NK's government as it is, SK does have to have a military. But it should be one safe from abuses for celebrities and others. NO abuse should be tolerated.
