@@mayintheclouds I should have written "used" not abused here. I was simply referring to Bella being used by her mother making her carry the financial burden of the family during her childhood. This could also be seen as a form of abuse (even if it's not abuse in the traditional sense). However, I do realize that many children are forced to work around the world and still grow up to be healthy and stable adults. I just don't think it needs to happen in one of the wealthiest nations in the world.

You know, I have never heard of young male Disney actors having the same unrealistic expectations imposed on them. There may well be some, since abusive manipulative people are rarely discriminating of their targets/victims. The reality is that the way you are treated by someone says more about their character than it does your own. We see and fight against slavery and mistreatment of human beings in other countries so readily, yet we still turn a blind eye to the same behaviour in our own backyards. Something has to change.

Well, I think everyone who are celebrities have gone through situations like everyone else in the world. We've done things when we were younger, stupid things, but we also had good times as well. Even though people might mistake her or anyone else as a CHARACTER of a TV show or movie, they are their own person when they don't play a character. A lot of celebrities, yes, have to deal with paparazzi, but they're all human beings. Yes, we may get starstruck sometimes, seeing or meeting a celebrity, but we all have to remember ourselves that they're human like the rest of us. :)

Even though she needed the financial help on being on Shake It Up, she honestly could’ve turned the role down and she wouldn’t have regrets and found other casting jobs.

Now you're saying. Without Disney, you are Ms. Nobody!!! and you gained nothing with Disney? Now she made money from the social media, well it's all relative. Now she considered making money, I bet several hundreds of million of dollars instead a couple of millions at Disney.
