However, her journey to the top was anything but smooth sailing. Her advocating for diversity in the entertainment industry and beyond also hasn't gone unnoticed, and she's made big waves when it comes to representation and equality.
She's dealt with everything from rivals with former co-star Bella Thorne, public backlash for some of her more provocative roles, and has even been condemned for her platform based on diversity.

Once in a tent camp, my jackt got wet and I ran around the tents in a trash bag. I was warm and dry and we styled it with duct tape. Was a fun time. Btw I was like 12 or something back then.

When I first saw her I didn't know who she was. I never watch the Disney Channel or the pop music videos. But one thing was clear. She was and is a pure natural beauty. And from some of the interviews I've seen the last few years that beauty wasn't only on the outside but inside as well. That is hard to find. I enjoy her role as MJ in the Spider Man movies and I hope that continues. But her part in The Greatest Showman was fantastic and I my opinion should have won her an award. Two parts that really stand out to me was when he lets go of her hand and the tears in the hospital. In both parts she makes the viewer feel either the pain and hurt or the joy and happiness. Great job!!!! Look forward to your next role and see where it takes you. Maybe a part in the new Pirates of the Caribbean? That would be great!!!! Keep the positive role model for the younger generation coming up. They need someone to look up to who can show them the right way to do things. I have been very fortunate to have met a few movie star, models and rock stars in my time. I know her very well her mother was my son's teacher at fruitvale elementary school in Oakland I remember her when she was shy but her mother was into theater so that's where it started I'm so happy that she overcame her shyness and advanced into young beautiful multi talented young lady !

I couldn't ask for a better role model growing up- in and out of shows. I am so grateful to live in the same time as her and to be able to look up to her. Zendaya will most likely never go down the road that Lindsey went because she has the support and guidance of parents that Lindsey didn't have. I love that her clothing line is sizes 0-22 because it matters! I am glad that her idea of inclusive does include EVERYONE, not just these 4 and no more like so many others are doing. If you don't include someone you are NOT inclusive. Gen Z is going to be the best adult generation ever because they get it.

Zendaya has a bright future she has passion in her work that makes me love her even more . she is proud of her country and she doesn't care what people say about her hair , skin and religon i am talking about racism she has courage, she works hard ,she belives in herself , she challenges her self and that is the key to success and FYI i also come from Africa i am also a christian just like her proud of my country and nation .
