The PLAN-demic is 1000% the work (attacks) of those who rule this world. Yes, there are rulers (or controllers, or a ruling clan if you will), and they control (all) money, media, and governments, and they have the motive, means, intent to attack the masses (whom they consider their slaves) with illness causing toxins, or biological agents. All their deception, and control is under their goal called New World Order (aka Brave New World, Tikkun Olam).

@@blackalien6873 as someone who has been in both, not so. Most Christian churches have no dress code. If you miss a week or two, you may get phone calls to see if you are OK, but no judgement. They teach a relationship with Jesus & the pastor is just a good teacher of the Word, but as a Christ follower you are encouraged to check out all information given with the Bible. (Acts 17:11) No pastor or any man of God is “above” the members. The pastors spend 4-12 years in college to understand the Bible, often learning Greek and Hebrew and what the times when Jesus walked this earth were like to understand it clearly. Again, we are encouraged to check all things with the Bible.

@@blackalien6873 in what ways are other Christian sects this way? I’m curious. Depending on your answer I may agree with you. Certain evangelical sects are very legalistic especially about things such as Purity Culture which has done a lot of damage to the body of Christ.

So tired of reading where Protestants and Sectarian Christians think Latter-day Saints are not Christian. Some of their ministers are partly responsible for this, and it’s really aggravating. Jesus Christ stands at the head of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is His one, true Church on the earth. In 1820, God and Christ both appeared to Joseph Smith. On May 15, 1829, John the Baptist appeared to the Prophet Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery and conferred upon them the Aaronic Priesthood. He also Restored the Authority to baptize. Shortly afterwards, Peter, James, and John appeared to them and conferred the Melchizedek Priesthood on them. On April 3, 1836, Jesus Christ, as well as three Old Testament prophets, Moses, Elias, and Elijah, personally appeared to the Prophet Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery in the Kirtland Temple in Kirtland, Ohio. On this day, the Prophet Elijah fulfilled the prophecy concerning him in the Old Testament. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. Joseph Smith was and is a true Prophet.

Thanks for sharing! Awesome testimony! I appreciate your genuine quest for truth, the belief that real truth will always hold up under scrutiny or test, and the comparison between Christianity and Mormonism, as well as the research on LDS history, the cultural uncomfortables, and the encouragement for others on this kind of remaking journey. I especially appreciate the focus on true relationship with God above all else. That the journey is not about leaving God, but rather about finding God in the truest and purest way instead of being pressured to believe in a form of God you are not allowed to understand or ask genuine questions about or should I say a religion pushing a view of God which is said to be above any question. I also believe that controlled research, narrowed by an organization is dangerous. Freedom to search for truth and to use our minds while led by God’s Spirit is essential. Living with constant blinders on is not healthy or of God, I believe, and it can pretty much justify any religion or belief system. If asking questions is evil or not allowed and no other source is safe you are pretty much pushed to not see beyond what you are told by others. Not allowed to engage the mind God has given us or to trust His leading rather than man’s leading. You could just as easily be a Muslim or Buddhist or any other religion or cult by that method. In my gospel ministry we focus on following God’s truth as revealed in scripture and letting the Lord God be our ultimate teacher and Guide. We are to connect and relate with Him learning of Him to follow Him. Following men rather than God is a recipe for disaster and disappointment. So, we must seek God and follow Him. Jesus Christ is very clear about that! :) (ex. Mark 7:1-23) God bless you in Christ Jesus! PS - I find it compelling evidence on the real nature, character, and origin of Mormonism that the end goal is Godhood (I’ve studied this a bit before). This was the goal of Lucifer or Satan, and it is the precise point on which he led mankind into sin (Genesis 3:1-5). He said Ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil (if they would eat the forbidden fruit and disobey God himself). His bait was to suggest a path to godhood by making our own laws or rules. He gave man the idea that man could be god, when the Bible is crystal clear that there is only one God, and not another. So a faith promoting the goals and suggestions of Lucifer is definitely on dangerous or sinister ground. (Though many sincerely are not realizing it) Though I imagine the church at least says to obey the God they are promoting.

I am so proud of you Syd!! I am an ex Mormon that lives in Utah as well, I remember feeling that it was not true and wrong even when I was 8 years old. I didn’t want to get baptized and was practically forced into it. I’m so happy to see you finding the truth 💕💕💕

I think it would be really interesting to see a video of you and your mom speaking about this! (obviously only if you both wanted to). I'd love to hear her perspective on watching you go from heavily involved to leaving the church as she had gotten out 10+ years before you and was on the outside looking in.

i absolutely loved this video! im catholic but i have always wanted to learn what it was like to be mormon since i have always heard it's a pretty strict religion. also, just a video suggestion for you that i think would help a lot of people. maybe you should post a q&a video where other's ask you questions on ig and you just make a yt video on answering a few of those questions. im sure so many questions and concerns and fear that others had has already been answered in this video but in case there are still lingering burning questions it would be really cool to do a q&a video. thank you so much for the insightful video i genuinely learned so much!!

how do you define "weird?" did u know Muslims in Africa cut of the Clitoris of newborn females? Do you know that Buddhists believe that when u die, u get reborn on earth again, either in the form of an animal, insect, or another human? Did u know lots of Christian religions teach young kids how to speak in tongues (which is hilarious when u see it on YT vids, when they just yell out a bunch of bullshit gibberish and shake all over the place like they're having seizers and are possessed, lol?) so again, I ask u, wtf do you define as being "weird'?

@@DownTheHill3 those are all weird. What point are you trying to make?
@DownTheHill3
@DownTheHill3 2 жыл бұрын
@@Emily-ok3jn the point is, one can find “weirdness” in everything in life, and this story video is about as plain, run of the mill, avg Joe as it gets, but this person feels it necessary to air her issues in PUBLIC platform for what? Likes, subscribes, fame? If u have an issue with the ppl of an institution, or the institution itself, just ducking leave, don’t leave all mad about it and beg for sympathy from strangers in a public social forum, like, talk to ur close friends about it, and move forward instead of grasping for approval from literal strangers online

@@DownTheHill3 you sound psychotic. she not even doing that. If you actually listened to her video you would know she clearly said she’s not doing this for fame or for subs. You sound like the angry one. She said this is her experience and she has nothing against other Mormons or the church. She is simply saying what she went through. And I’m sorry but everything you did list in your first paragraph is weird lol. You really didn’t make a point.

yeah, but on the same token, she'll be hurting alot of ppl that have God by staying with their particular religions, in this case, the mormons...but you can insert any religion in this and anyone that wants to leave it like Syd here, she gives a very convincing victim mentality, leaving others to believe that her religion, and those that continue to cling to it, are corrupt, and misled, which is completely toxic...she needs private sessions of therapy, not validation from online strangers that cheer her on bc they dislike her particular previous faith...these videos are so stupid and sad

Reading “unveiling Grace: the story of how we found our way out of the Mormon church” by Lynn Wilder now. My teen son spends a LOT of time with a Mormon family but he grew up Christian. There is such a difference between the two. It’s good to know what he may be seeing or hearing about when with that family. Thank you for your videos.

I too left the mormon church. I am 70 now and left 50 years ago. I joined the Marines when I was 18 and was exposed to many religions for the 8 years I was in the service. After being exposed to the truth for a few years I am a Baptist now and I am finally learning about Christ and have been born again. It was tough because the whole family was Mormon and I was disowned by them. I now live in a very small town in Southeastern Utah surrounded by Mormons who try to keep working on me but with no success. Once you really know Christ and are born again and receive the holy spirit you can not go back again. Thank you for your message as I now know I am not the only one going through this experience
