Do you think these two are better off as friends or as lovers?

That's really sad that two people who loved each other can't manage to be together simply because the general public can't control themselves appropriately and that so many people cannot tell the difference between on-screen and reality. Maybe after the show finishes they can try again and it won't be too late. Glad they're able to be professional about it and maintain their close friendship.

Its sad that they had to hide like that. But the amount of professionalism they have and the strength of their friendship seems to show a lot.

As a HUGE fan of Big Bang, and of them individually; it's easy to see the chemistry between these two. Something unique in a lifetime, and not to take for granted---- it's no surprise they remain close. Johnny and Kaley, when God closes a door, He ALWAYS opens a window!!

They agreed in the beginning they weren't meant to be together. Not a good way to start a relationship. Also...never date someone you work with.

I could relate with them, my oldest daughter mother and I became good friends after we broke up because we realized we weren't meant to be together. I get along good with her husband and she gets along with my girlfriend and my daughter only sees her mother and I joking around and not fighting.

That is sad the two people in love can't be together, because of what others think. Here's what I think, the heck with other people think live your life the way you want and to the fullest like the next day don't come be proud of who you're with, and be proud of the end be proud of yourself.

Not that my opinion matters, but....Awesome show, some of the best 'intelligent' and well scripted entertainment since MASH, Frasier, and Friends. In fact this show will probably be remembered as the "Friends" of the 20-teens. Everybody loves them ! Kaley especially has that wholesome Jennifer Anniston girl-next-door vibe. They all seem like well adjusted actors who take the profession seriously, and keep their ego's in check. It would not surprise me if the whole cast didn't end up as life-long friends. I think everyone in their viewing audience appreciates their acting skills, and also the enjoyment and entertainment that they have brought to so many of us for so many years now. It's tragic really, that Kaley and Johnny felt they had to hide the relationship, it was truly incredibly selfless of them not to upset the dynamics and the momentum behind the show. - The rest of Hollywood could take a lesson from this - be a frickin' professional and put your craft before your ego ! I probably speak for many by saying this.....thank you to the cast, writers, and production crew for such a great show and making our lives a little more fun. Long live Big Bang !!

I feel sorry for them. I mean, they were never able to show that they are together because of the show.... They didn't want that to ruin it. But i think its also hard for them to see each other after the break up, because so its not that easy to get over someone if you see them all day. We dont know the reason for the break up. Maybe there were to many fights but i think they wouldnt be so good friends if this was the reason.

It's a bittersweet feeling, but that is their choice and what seems best for them.

I see the pair as being meant to be together. And they split due to the culture of Hollywood. The requirement to always be available to give their time to the media via giving interviews and promotional tours. This leaves them with not enough time together to bond and plan a family and long term relationship together as a couple. Hollywood essentially forced the pair to just be friends instead of what they should be.

That's interesting. So hard to maintain relationships with the nomadic life style that comes with acting.

i don't think the question is what's the real reason behind their split. the real question is was there any romantic relationship whatsoever? you cannot have a relationship like that for years and break up without anyone noticing according to terms you established as a happy couple

don't recommend hooking up or dating a colleague... it gets uncomfortable when it doesn't work out, and you have to then update your resume... in their case though, for a million bucks an episode of course i would make an exception.
