The way this is handled, it’s suspect and gaslighting. Once HYBE partnered with Scooter Braun, it’s all about greed and not the artists. SB is shady and just an awful person. He cheated on his wife with another woman and impregnated her while still married. Not a single news had been aligned in NAVER about HYBE ever since MHJ exposed about their cult. Before MHJ's press conference, there were thousands of news attacking her uploaded day by day. And HYBE used BTS as their shield so the foreign fans can support them. The problem with her not wanting illit to be connected to her group is mostly because they are identical. I don’t think she would have had that problem if they had their own style. HOW CAN MHJ TAKE OVER ADOR WHEN SHE ONLY HAS 18%? That’s the reason why Hybe wanted her to resign. In order for her to take over ADOR, she needs 51% or more. So she only needs 33% more. But how can she get that when HYBE owns 80%? MHJ needs to buy 33% but im sure HYBE will not sell their shares to MHJ considering the fact that they want her to step down. That alone is very sus. Here’s my theory: the reason as to why illit is so similar to newjeans is because they are supposed to be their replacement. Hear me out now, if newjeans decide to leave hybe, it will be quite a loss for the company as the girls were doing really well and bringing good profit to the company. So, in case newjeans leaves, hybe has a second option: illit, with a very similar concept but who also have the advantage of being a big 3 company group. This is all just speculation and it is not based on any proof.

I give more credit to MHJ in this drama, but only because I can actually see how this precedent will either be K-pop’s or Hybe’s downfall. Why? I’m honestly overreaching with the downfall of Kpop, but with Hybe’s monopoly of K-idol companies, it’s not impossible. The executives are betray their very own idols by mass producing a branding that should have been unique to active idols. Case in point, the comparison between NJ and Illit, we can’t deny their similarities, hence, it’s mind-blowing how no one in the higher ups had thought that maybe their decisions would lead to them stripping their idol groups of unique identifiers. If you are going to debut a group with a similar concept, why not debut after a few years when your active group has peaked already? And no, that is not competition. That just opens a can of worms for fans to pit idol groups against each other, which is actually worse if you think about it.

I believe Min Hee Jin about everything surrounding NewJeans' creation (expect for her overplaying her name's influence in a HYBE audition) and their debut. This combined with HYBE going all out for Le Sserafim's promotions, while NewJeans got way less ways to promote themselves outside of their releases, even though NewJeans were still being on par / even surpassing Le Sserafim's popularity would frustrate any one in charge of Ador / NewJeans. But I'm also 100% certain, that she wanted to get HYBE out of Ador using illegitimate means like media play, and sketchy investment options into the company. Ador is a collaboration project of HYBE and Min Hee Jin in which HYBE provided money, infrastructure, talent and a platform, all while Min Hee Jin got the creative freedom, lack of which prompted her leave at SM Entertainment. Hybe (who are the majority shareholder of Ador) trying to get rid of her first before her plan sets into motion is completely understandable.

Tbf, it's HYBE's job to provide investment to NewJeans, they're the majority owner. That's what operating cost is. Like, do people expect MHJ to use her own salary to promote NJs? Isn't that against labor laws since she's employed by HYBE? Putting the business politics aside, it was clear as day that HYBE didn't really care about the success of NewJeans. HYBE invested ONLY $11million USD to debut NJs AND create ADOR, while investing $30million USD in LSF for JUST their debut. The same can be said about ILLIT, probably $30million USD on top of $100million USD to buy out BeLift. If I were MHJ and even NJs parents, I would be pissed af. Just knowing all that was going on behind the scene, NJs had a clear disadvantage and it's their talent and creative team that made them successful, not the HYBE name.

Hybe/Bang sihyuk is connected to a cult named Dan World… Min heejin refused to promote/imply it in a song or mv so that’s why they were threatening her. Please refer to OMG mv and Ditto mv.. In case of OMG, the lyrics worship the cult/their god but in the mv, they satirize their god(the cult worship bear). Even in the Lesserafim’s Unforgiven choreography, there is a move in the beginning 🐰>😈 rabbit represents newjeans, which means newjeans is devil (in their perspective) and you can find several easter eggs like this. People saying she is the problem when it was Hybe that started all this mess, without any solid proven legal reason so far, are in for a rude awakening. A company full of male CEOs, some with a shady past, a company that affiliated themselves with someone like scooter brown, a company that associated with nfts, a company that didn't want anything to do with girls for years, because they used to associate them with problems, until they saw how profitable girl groups can be.... So far, nothing has been proven, but if I was MHJ I'd want to leave and take what I made with me too. Hybe created this entire circus as if they weren't acquiring companies the same way and against some of the employees will. Whether they copied or not, what matters most is the music. You can find similarities with all the groups. Let the music speak for itself. Just copying a successful group doesn’t guarantee success.

I agree with others that waiting for court cases to show evidence is important. I also think the people that should be listened to first is the group directly, and second would be the parents. I am concerned that the parents were so dissatisfied with the treatment of their daughters. I hope that the copying is the only issue they have with the companies, we all have heard too many horror stories about the treatment of idols by companies.

@@chihuang422I would have agreed that it was all about money if she was using them in shit ton of ads (which tbh are not getting to her anyway coz HYBE is giving everything to LSRFM and now ILLIT) and had not made a strong concept for the girls.. I am not a K-pop fan since 2018 but this drama reeled me in and I am amazed by the amount of details. She made a secret channel called ban heesoo (which u can go to NOT from the channel but if u read through the MVs and actually search for it) where there are low quality held cam footage of the girls like they are having fun with friends in school, there are different versions to make all the girls shine and the concepts have been her vision board since 2010s if not earlier.. this I Doesn’t come only from the desire for money.. so her saying NEW JEANS is like a baby she birthed. I believe it.

I don't believe a word she says. Min Hee-Jin knows what she's doing. She had that press conference to be messy and garner the sympathy vote, not because HYBE is so powerful. If she has receipts for all the accusations she's spewing, then produce them or sit down. Give back the company computer back and stop playing the victim. No corporation is perfect, but HYBE isn't doing anything wrong. Diversifying and buying companies isn't a bad thing. In HYBE's case it was necessary since BTS was their main source of revenue.
