And you know it doesnt have to be that way. I was the same when I was in school and only realize the missed opportunities now that im years into employment. Do whatever you want but at your own pace. Dont force to be someone your not but do try what you want to do and keep doing what gives you fulfillment. To a better life!

Chasing the role of being "an interesting person" is the most stressful thing you can do to yourself. Don't do it. Don't be interesting person, because that is an outward definition. The others define you as interesting. In general, trying to prove something to others or obtain some cool "tabs" like being intresting, eccentric, charming, sexy, etc is the source of misery. Try to realize what you really love, where you are really comfort and seek the inner you. There is nothing wrong if you don't like travelling, or being the "extreme sports guy". Be you and don't copy hapiness recipes.

Exactly!!! Since I stopped being "an interesting person" I became free. I started to see the huge beauty in the most simple things in my life and then more beautiful things came which I am so grateful for I can't express. Everyday. And I started to see opportunities instead of focusing on my misery. LET'S BE FREE!

Just by that statement alone one can see that you don't get it. You WANT to have this problem as an excuse, but the truth is: The key to not having a boring life is to plant one foot in order and the other one in chaos (or simply: Doing things outside of YOUR comfort zone). This doesn't require money at all!? Talking to people, doing sports, learning new things through the internet, etc. You have an internet connection so you ALREADY have no excuse to not step out of your comfort zone.

I instead simply add more things to my comfort zone. I do it one thing at a time. And I try to bring along with me a small part of my comfort zone with me. It’s like mixing your favorite food with the new food till you’re used to the new food. For example I want to take ballroom dance classes (which is out of my comfort zone) so I take my best friend with me (which is in my comfort zone) that way it’s not completely new. I have anxiety and depression so I struggle with new things. This method has helped me to keep things interesting. I hope it can help you too.

Diana S in that case if I want to try something new without a friend I would make it something more similar to what I have already done. For example I want to try going out for drinks (outside of my comfort zone) so I instead go to a wine and paint event (painting is in my comfort zone) this way I’m out and drinking with strangers. I’d do this until I get the nerve to go to an actual bar.

I'm going to step out of my comfort zone today and do whatever 1st comes to mind . I'm tired of stumbling through life, saying, " I wish I was there," or " I wish I had done that when I was there ." I refuse to let fear take any more of my life . That's why for me that means less sleeping, less social media, and more LIFE .🤗

i have never done anything that every kid should have experienced like going to disneyland, rollercoasters, camping, riding bicycles, traveling, etc. all my life was basically with the internet. even if we went on vacations it would be in our hotel 90% of the time for 3 days and go back to home. life was dreadfully boring. thats why i rarely remember memories from when i was a kid. until now i still havent done those things yet, and life is still the same. im just hoping that when im an adult life would be more interesting

No bro, i understand where your'e coming, working a job you don't like, having no time for friends, and not enough money. here's an advice that can get you more cash. if you have a car in the summer, save up money to buy a cooler, fill it with drinks and water and when you see people standing under the sun or working under the sun. you will use the opportunity to sell it to them, this strategy can earn you some money and maybe if you make enough you can do it full time and control you life. by the way if you still need help with activities to do, i got a video on it

Life became extremely boring when I left high school. Kicking it with the boys during lunch, roasting each other, being young and dumb with no responsibility, just the tangible things ya know. Remembering those days of doing hardcore excercises for sports teams and upcoming competitions. Attending away homecoming games and cruising around at night until the entire gang crashes at each other places.

My parents won't let me get out of the hpuse for even a second whether its the lane by our building or the rooftop or generally just my grandma's house. At school they won't let me join any clubs because they think it "unnecessary" and irrelevant to my studies. Why? Because I am a teen and its dangerous for a girl to go anywhere without parents. Like I get it why they are so overprotective but honestly its so soul sucking and draining at this point. Before, me and my siblings used play with others in the building but they won't allow me to do that anymore. Plus, my brother who is a few months older than me is allowed to go to school on his own and even his friends house. Its just so frustrating I just don't what to do anymore. Even brother who is younger than me, has more freedom. My mother's like "You can go outside only if your parents go with you" but funnily enough she doesn't even go anywhere, not even my relative's house. Ok i am done venting :D

Nah, it is rather because i have no money or friends. Let's be honest, we are not kids anymore so that world is opened and friendly towards us, so that tale about bright perspective of future are still capable to work. But more adult you become, more you have become experienced with life. It is diffucult for adults to out of their "comfort" zone not because they do not want to do it, but because their actual experience is valid, it is difficult for adults to perceive world as friendly new and fresh, while kids perceive world as positive and kind. For instance, kids easily can find friend by asking other kid just "i want to be friend with you, lets be friends", but adults cannot do that, they cannot just ask "hey lets be buds", even if they do ask, they cannot enjoy friendship as kids do. Kids are opened towards other kids, and trust other kids, and nothing to hide. But adults have bunch of things to aware of, they have secrets, they have shameful secrets, fo them it is difficult to trust other adults. So make your conclusions

A few weeks ago I was at our village party and I was dancing. Nothing special you'd say, but knowing me I can't dance to save my life!!! I was frikkin scared but still I hit that dance floor. I was waaaaaaay out of my comfortzone and the first 2 dance rounds were very akward, but in a strange way I had some kind of courage that night. People were laughing at me in the beginning, but I genuanly did not care, my friends encouraged me and I had the time of my life. The cherry on top was the look on my husbands when he saw me dancing. He looked at me with a BIG smile on his face. On the way back home he said how proud he was to see me bust a move. Back home we chatted about the party. Suddenly he turned on the music, took me by the hand, pulled me close and told me softly that he wanted to have the last dance of the evening. And NO it was't a dirty dance 😜 So go out there and try new things people!!! Have a nice day 🙌
