I'm from BR and Mid City has changed alot. Government Street used to be a 4 lane road but was converted to 3 lane few yrs ago.

I'm from St. Louis and I was in Baton Rouge last weekend for the Boosie Bash. I had a good time, we ate at Frank's restaurant and the food was good. We went to a St. Patrick's day parade and my kids had fun. They knew I was from outta town and they treated me good ASF. I don't know what y'all experience was but mine was cool and I plan on going back next year.

There's something about Baton Rouge that makes me feel a little on edge. I feel perfectly safe in NOLA day and I know where not to be at night but BR just doesn't do it for me. I'd never stop there anyway but that's the closest WHATABURGER to NOLA and as Texan as I am nothing else will do when I have a craving for it and back then both of their Whataburgers were in bad areas.

New Orleans is actually way worse than Baton Rouge. From the murders to robberies. New Orleans is a war zone compared to Baton Rouge.

As a guy who spent a career traveling selling engineering plastics, Katie is correct... When you see the streets lined with Popeye's Chicken, Churches Chicken restaurants. You know you made the wrong turn. Keep safe and make sure you check for bed bugs in the motels. I still don't know how you kids can afford to travel on a KZfaq budget. When I'm down at my Bonita Springs Florida Town House late Jan/Early Feb. I'm open to taker you guys out to lunch or dinner. Or, have you over.

Thank you 😊 sadly those business do cater to poverty and sell them poison quality food. The dollar stores don’t have any particular product worth more than $1 but they sell them around the clock.
