dude, this is awesome i have never seen a director with that much insight of our true struggles, sure ive seen numerous movies about mental illness but sam really does get it. he gets how it works. absolutely brilliant show

How did this show fly under the radar? I agree with Barry that Rami's portrayal of Elliot Alderson Ranks with Don Draper, Walter White, and Tony Soprano as one of the greatest characters in TV history but so few people are familiar with the show

The bit where he closes out with the quote 'Find out the future you're fighting for, if you like it, it's beautiful...' actually finishes with 'if not, you might as well fade the fuck out right now'. Probably a good job he cut it where he did...

How has this interview flown under the radar for over a year? Agree with @TheCascade14 that the art of the interview is dead. Mr. Robot seems to be the most slept-on television series; ever episode is captivating. Can't wait for Season 4, and I'm glad Esmail will be ending the show on a high note.

Love this interview. First time I listen to Sam speaking. It's a part of my research to try to find out why did I hooked up on Mr Robot so much recently. This show has so many diamonds of wisdom, especially for my generation, that is should be taught at school. I hope one day to write a screenplay inspired by Mr Robot (and its inspirations) - from my own inner place. Elliot (as well as many other characters) will always serve as guidelines and mentor for these chaotic times.
