@@GiantMushrooms You'd be correct, but on one condition; if you take the term opposite as having nothing in common. If that was the case then yes you'd be correct. But that's the problem with your statement; that there's a condition to it. Human behavior and psychology isn't just black or white. It isn't as easy as yes or no and the best answer would be that it's complicated as having certain opposite views from each other still doesn't make you more prone to argument than those who have more in common and having similar traits does not necessary mean that the relationship will be any better off either. As I've said it's not so easy. There ARE ways to make it work and certain opposition CAN compliment each other and make the relationship more stable, in fact. Most of the time healthy relationship do best when there's a balance of similarities and differences. Plus, romantic or not? Relationships aren't about differences and similarities. It's about communication, and if you disagree on something there will always be some sort of compromise. So, you're not wrong about that, but neither are you correct about it. It's all about how healthy the relationship is and how they work it out, not about the differences.

First time I moved out, I was someone who was mildly extroverted but absolutely needs their alone time each day who moved in with a good friend who was extremely sociable and couldn't handle being alone for very long. Took me over a year to finally adapt

Back when I lived with my ex, we each had our own rooms for that reason, if someone wanted to hole in their room for a while the other person would just accept pretty much, it worked decently well.

I moved out and lived on my own for a while and then I met my girlfriend who lives close to my house. Basically she crashed into my place so much she's basically living here so I got used to the presence. She died recently, and it's all alone time again. So yeah value your alone time, people. You never know when you won't miss it anymore.

I think it's the other way around. I think she's able to be streaming for so long because to her, streaming is not that different from her alone time. I can't say this for sure of course, but there's people who have an easier time speaking to a camera than having a direct conversation with someone else (Or by call, for that matter). You can see this especially in older collabs, where she used to be a lot more shy with other members than what she was when streaming alone. This has become less evident with time, Korone has grown a lot as a person up till now and that's cool.

It's genuinely hard to find someone who gets it. Every single relationship I've been in, I've kind of dreaded. Even when my need for alone time didn't destroy a relationship, it always made things feel claustrophobic. Being neighbors seems like an easy solution. Hopefully they can find two houses next door to each other and buy them at some point (should be easy considering how well they're doing). That way they can do what they like and still have that separate time.

Yeah it's hard to be neighbours now unless korone moves together so that's why okayu moved near her instead

I shared home with a very old friend of mine and it was horrible, I was SO glad she left 6 months later. Sometimes the best friends just cant be too much time together or get too everyday close.

Same here. I go visit my best friend whenever I can (we unfortunately live on opposite sides of the county, so I can’t see him much), but after spending a couple days over there, I inevitably start getting pissy and tired and know it’s time to go back home. I wish I had more energy to spend with loved ones, but I’m just too introverted to spend much time with anybody.

ive lived with all of my friends( a big fat 4 of them) and only my non-blood-borther was able to handle me all the others said i was the best roomates when it comes to rent payement and established task but once those are done, im especialy difficult to live with i need my solitude time, and ill take it while your watching tv if i need to(i had headphones) but then again, the only one who i lived for over a year, and we never had any true issue basicaly because he was giving me my space, even sometimes leaving the house to go watch a movie alone for leaving the den completely emptied for my lonesome even now 10 years later, me and him are super tight, but we wouldnt live together again, him having kids and a wife might have a reason for it /shrug

I'm actually hoping I might one day move in with my best friend... If only because I love cleaning and house-keeping and he loves to cook. Otherwise we'd literally just sit on our PC's in the same/separate rooms and ignore eachother 80% of the time. Which is cool.
