Its simple Sinn Fein did not stand with the Irish people when Migrant African and Arab men (black and tans) were being planted in every small Irish Town and Village up and down the country against the will of the people. They were not at all effective opposition on this major subject and people turned to independent's who have risen up from the public in desperation for representation. The general election will be much worse for them. It actually had to be explained to her that by the time the men in those tents were housed more would have arrived looking for their free housing, healthcare, handouts, etc. She was pontificating about something she was totally ignorant about, and here she is talking about hubris! As a Northern Ireland Unionist, I could almost have predicted this a few years ago. Seeing her turn her back on the Catholic church teaching and celebrating at the Abortion result seemed to signal the change of direction of the party. I honestly think a United Ireland is quite far down their list of priorities now. Welcoming 1000's of foreigners, their love for the minority LGBTQ+x10 brigade and their focus on socialism has brought them to this point. In the Westminster election up here they must be the only party in World history who, if elected, promise not to represent the people and not to work for their best interests. Don't get me wrong, I'm delighted they are struggling but perhaps they took their own voters for granted and thought the people should represent the parties interests instead of the other way round.

Mary mohamed lou was very vocal in support for muslims and that is exactly what we Irish dont want. Look at recent voting in Europe, France, Italy, Hungary, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark all voting more conservative. Ireland still has a lot of sheep amongst the population and need to understand whats going on in the rest of europe. When you start calling normal people with genuine concerns "Far right" you will always lose.

Their strong support for immigration is why. We expected them to undo the damage done by the present government and secure Ireland for the Irish. They profess to be the nationalist party and that’s what we expected. It soon became obvious that was not their intention so they were of no use to us. Simple as that.

We need a referendum in Ireland irish people have only a right to vote 🇮🇪 only get to vote ist...no other citizens unless their born here..we are not allowed to vote in others countrys..simple as ..we are becoming 2nd class citizens in our own country..because ot the traitors in government looking after everyone other nationality..roll on the elections take back your countys and country people of Ireland 🇮🇪 for your children and grandkids futures

It wasn't just migration, the last referendum, SF promoted a yes vote( like all the other parties) ,this showed that SF has moved to far to the right in order to court the centre right vote. SF has lost its identity. To the news talk presenters, a general election will present a different SF result.
