One option to get better rates on Sealed is to partner with an LGS. You get a large buy-in bulk-discount and they can command a higher allocation with their distributor which benefits them when they really want a hot new Set.

Definitely some good points! As a fellow small seller, I have some questions: 1) How do you currently source your inventory? 2) How do you price your cards on TCGplayer and/or what is your offer structure for collections (if that's the route you source you inventory)? Thanks!

Don’t forget to mention the TCG direct requirements: Lvl 4 seller 99.5 feedback last 30 3000+ inventory 100 sales per month avg $600+ per week! 😮

@@peaknonsense2041 you honestly need to sell booster boxes to reach that threshold if you don’t have semi expensive cards in your inventory. I have inventory of around 17,000 right now and I keep selling and posting everyday. I finally got into direct by selling the booster boxes to reach the threshold.

Think I'll stick with non-direct! I already get slammed when listing cards at new set release time, so sorting, listing, and shipping 100k+ in bulk singles doesn't sound appealing or even physically possible with a day job and KZfaq channel😬

I have been debating going direct for a few weeks now. I already get as many as 30 orders daily with a very small inventory as I do a mixture of games that are both in and out of the direct program and I can't imagine the amount of packing I would have to do if I went direct. I think I'll stick with the massprice tool at 15-20cents fixed minimum range and avoid listing commons/uncommons of any game with some exceptions.

I have not seen the sales volume increase as everyone has described by moving to TCGPlayer direct. My floor is at $.25 and I have 4,000 in inventory with another 4,000 being scanned into lists to import. I'm trying to figure out where the best rate is to sell and see that increase in volumed sales as everyone is describing.

Do you have a good recommendation on where to go for EVs of sealed boxes. I know Mox Alpha is a thing but I'm not quite to the scale where I can pay the monthly fee. I have looked at MTGstocks but it's a bit confusing to get through. Thanks in advance! Great vid!

From what I know mox alpha charges 30-40 dollars a month depending on whether you want to go monthly or yearly. Has anyone found it worthwhile or do you share subscriptions? Especially if all your doing is looking up evs

When you say 31% fees. Is that because you're including the Shipping Reimbursement built in as part of the fee? I was thinking of doing the SYP program where i can have a separate Direct account and use that account to send TCGPlayer my $20+ cards.

can you elaborate on buying sealed to rip just so you can sell the singles on direct? I thought people were just buying bulk lots of singles that were basically peoples unwanted junk. How do you determine if a set is profitable to rip? Thanks in advance

Do you know what wholesale price actually is...because depending on the product, and if a retailer is gated or not, as well as other restrictions and allocations and bundle amounts can change every wholesale price. As a store owner, I have been forced to purchase product at higher than TCG prices just to unlock the ability to buy a few extra cases of the new hotness. It can be crazy at times.

35% off retail from distribution, unless you buy bundles and or by the pallet. Usually any order under 10k of one type of product is only 35% off for poke. The margins are super thin, when you consider selling fees, shipping costs, overhead, competitive pricing etc...volume is what makes up for it. But alone, sealed product is not a tangible business plan for even an online seller working out of their basement, it only takes one bad set to destroy them financially.@@tommyamin

Lorcana did the tale as old as time TCG timeline. 1) New, decent IP card game, didnt know how much to print 2) They were constantly sold out, they didnt print enough for two sets 3) Third Set is released and they printed too much and probably adjusted inflated print runs for the next couple of future sets I hope you didnt all in on Inklands. Lorcana is a game to be played with your wife.

@@elgordo9525It's about a narrative, now ask yourself whomever is involved in that patreon definitely is qued up a parrot account. Their narrative has imploded, its not about investments either. Smoke and mirrors tactics, I thought it was about data but hard to fool a magic/poker player lol Bluffing is part of my game too but I also know how to posture and pot control also beartraps.
