Bamora or Vamola quickly became one of my favorite characters in Dandadan due to both her power set but also how many layers of references her character appeared to be to dissect. She feels like one the pinnacle in character design and story for the series! Thus if the stuff I discussed about her interested you please check out Dandadan!

I dunno why my comment disappeared, but here in Brazil "vamolá" simply means "let's go", which is an abreviation of "vamos lá" which means the same.

As a brazilian i find interesting to see that japanese use Vamos lá too , when i seen it in Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger i thought it was a subtitle thing.

About the zyuden sentai part... Kyoryuger would more accurately be read as kyo-ryu-jer Other than that, fantastic video

The slaughter mode from Bamora's suit remind me a lot of EVA unit 002 beast mode from the rebuild movies to and I think it's a direct reference to it. Also I am so unbelievably happy to see Dandadan getting covered by one of my favorite yt channels as it is currently my favorite manga. Every chapter I read brings me an unbelievable amount of joy and I love seeing all the DDD references to other anime I love like Evangelion.

Bamoras kaiju suit is more like a mix up Gomora, 84 Godzilla and Red King. Red Kings skin texture looks the same as Bomoras suit.

Also the kaiju suit turning invisible is also an Ultraman reference, to the kaiju Neronga/Nelonga, who can also turn invisible, and was actually made with a second hand Baragon suit.
