Sports can never be out of politics, anything that has cultural impact or significance can't exist outside political interference. You see, for common people like us, who don't hold much power individually, sports can be an instrument to put forward your political view point, implicitly. Barcelona is and always will be a political club, because the people of Catalonia deny to call themselves as Spaniard and they show this resistance through FC Barcelona.

The guy is a doctor in UAE man, my Dad was too and I can affirm that he hardly had a chance to catch his breath during work days. I am sure Sadiq bhai just uses football just to relax and unwind, but also surprised that he finds time to follow football so closely.

What I feel here is that this is all a ploy to get Tebas out like Nidhi bhaiya mentioned. And then Barca and Madrid will install a puppet to keep reaping the TV rights all for themselves. Sounds pretty far-fetched but my opinion.

Second...Madrid was bombed because Franco was fighting war to capture Madrid so it was obvious would get bombed..It's like If someone tries to capture a country there first target will be the capital but with Barcelona it was much more..camp nou was deliberately targeted by air strikes During war both barca and madrid suffered but after war Madrid became his favorite club because it represented Spanish nationalism but he hated Barcelona because of catalans..Their language,flag,logo,stadium name was banned..Main thing is he didn't hate FC Barcelona he hated catalan values of the club so he tried to change it while making sure Fc Barcelona doesn't go bankrupt

Real Madrid is a regime club.There can b no 2 ways abt it. The thing they were not always a regime club though.When the war started in 1930s the Madrid was as much a victim as Barca. Madrid fought Franco as well.However all this changed after Santiago Bernabau became President. Sure he did disagree with Franco on few things but he was a soldier who fought in his army. He was a fascist. And the audacity of Madrid to have their stadium named after him and still claim they are r not regime team z ridiculous 😂😂

But they are not mutually exclusive. Me saying calling Barcelona a regime club is outrageous is not equivalent to saying Real Madrid is one. They can be separate.

I wanted to say that it sounds outrageous cause of the stories we have been hearing from Barca's camp from whole our life that they hated the regime but now the RM video just provides a different perspective, and hence it sounds outrageous
