Thanks to you guys from bottom of my heart to talk about this topic... I have the same question inside me for years long " why midfielders? " ... Specially if you see players from Barcelona become great/ Elite coaches later in their career like - Cruyff ( one if the greatest player and great coach ) then comes GUARDIOLA , then comes Luis Enrique , then here we have Xavi Hernandez , i mean it's very rare to see a institution from where so many elite coaches are coming even they played for the club as a Legend.. I hope someday we will see Busquets as an elite Coach also❤️💙

Dhekho nowadays I think stats are trying to incorporate various things and not just assist goal and clean tackles. Nowadays people know about xg, xshots and what not, while it's true we are entering where it is not just a game but a physical chess where managers have to outsmart each other but know stats in future will become much more reliable than eye test
