the reason the outro for the last 3 episodes isn’t back in the 90s is bc he is no longer the horse from horsin around!

I think the show does a great job of making us root for Bojack in the sense that we want him to do better, not in the sense of wanting him to just get away with his shitty actions. We know he can do good. It's hard to watch him backslide, no matter how understandable. And yeah, Judah and PC!!! She deserves nothing less than that absolute king.

Angela is a peculiar character. She does not fall under heteronormativity, lives with a long term partner who doesnt let her drive after the fall and still trying to sell to Bojack for the firm? I still dont know her motives. Back then she did what she had to do but what about now when she's supposedly successful by the looks of it. If we feel bad for BJ, shouldn't we feel the same for her? She watched Bojacks interview and still insisted an addict to have a drink (and another one later). I see her as the 90s version of PC. She was excluded and picked on by the all male team members. It happened in the Telescope which kind of set the tone of the show. Back then, she was possibly dating a woman in secret and had to fire Herb for being gay, to be the single career gal who made pantsuits a thing. It was nice while it lasted!
@EversPrimeTime2 ай бұрын
You know, I caught the partner comment. I didn't say it outloud (ironic, consider how much I talk). But it's SO fucked up she fired Herb for that, considering. But yeah, I can agree to the PC comparison. Although, I'd like to think PC did less fucked things...sorta. haha

Man it took me like at least a year to be ok with not seeing Hollyhock’s letter, but in the end i think its pretty self explanatory 😢 also youre totally right, and i think they say it in this episode for the fans (the creator has said many times that he hates how some fans person see Bojack as 100% a victim and just a good guy in bad situations) but Angela literally talks about Bill Cosby in the same situation and in real life, his reputation would probably be just like his, almost everyone renouncing him and only a few people (bad people) out there who thinks hes still good. Its also why they put him with Vance, hes a his lowest so of course he would go to anyone who accepts him (and in a show full of bad things, hes like the only explicitly bad guy except maybe Hank Hippopotamus). Lastly, i think there is a bit of truth when Bojack says his life started going bad after she made him let her fire Herb, even tough it doesnt excuse anything but i think Bojack sees it like this, Herb was the first person he had a real relation with in wich his decisions/actions made him go away indefinitely wich only made the next relations ending be easier and easier.. damn man do i love this show, i knew after watching the next one youd definitely need a break but im glad you decided to go in with the idea to seperate the two last, both being in the top 10 of the show (yes i said top 10 theres too many good episodes in this damn show!! 😂) im so excited for this, keep it up man 😁

I know im probably going against the grain here, but jesus, doesn't Todd owe him a place at his party when hes at his lowest? Show a moment of kindness? Todd would probably be homeless if it wasnt for Bojack. Todd actually exploited Bojacks emotional vulnerability after he learned his father died to move into his home. Hell, Bojack freed Todd from the clutches of a cult. And yes, Bojacks motivation were (almost) always selfish. But does that really matter? Didnt he enable Todd to live his best life? He said it earlier this season: He is spending his life exactly like he would want to. He has everything. Feels extremely shitty to turn the person away that he can thank for all of that for a party. Not to mention that Todd is almost always the reason "something happens", not Bojack, so whats his deal?
@SharatSharatSharat24 күн бұрын
IMO Todd wouldn't have turned him down usually, but because his mother was coming to see him for the first time since he was 18, in Todd's head this party was much more important than usual, and he didn't want his mother seeing Bojack (who was widely hated in the public eye at this time) there. Sort of like a "bojack's presence would create a bad first impression" thing, since he's trying to show his mother he made a good life for himself. In general, the Todd Family storyline probably got rushed (it feels like it) because the show was being forced to end at season 6. I believe RBW would have done a better job if he had been given the minutes by Netflix
@RasmusVJS23 күн бұрын
After what BoJack did to him with the opera and Emily, and also just how terribly he has treated Todd in general, no, he doesn't owe BoJack. BoJack let Todd stay in his appartment so he wasn't alone, not to help Todd.
@Serryy23 күн бұрын
@@RasmusVJS 1. Todd rejected Emily, Emily decided to sleep with Bojack. It's not Bojacks fault that Todd couldn't articulate his feelings for her to him. It would be a betrayal if Bojack knew, but he didn't. All he knew at that time is that she's an old friend of Todd and that Todd didn't want to sleep with her. 2. Again, I don't think Bojacks motivations for helping him matter all that much. If you gave me a million dollars, I still would feel like I owe you gratitude, even if you only did it because you save more money by doing that due to a tax loophole
