Thank you for your support Lisa! Seals are already adapted to swimming and hunting with little sight. If you would take a deep dive in the Wadden Sea, you wouldn't see much. The same goes for seals, although their sight underwater is better than on land. They use their whiskers to find their way and hunt for fish. Furthermore, our researchers who study the behaviour of mother-pup-pairs, see a blind adult female seal return to the same area every year. Here, the female seal succesfully gives birth and raises a pup every year.
