Renaissance art has always captivated me, especially when it incorporates oil paint. I recently learned that Italy was the birthplace of oil painting. Oil paint produces lovely, bright colors that give the paintings a pleasant tone. As they show realistic images of actual real-life scenarios or moments, created on a canvas with the use of magnificent oil paints, Renaissance artworks continue to be fascinating even today.
