Over a year ago I was lifting and I had 275 pounds on the bench bar. Before I started I’ll my lift I don’t how to say this but I techni accidentally dropped the bar and it crushed my face. I broke 26 facial bones and I was choking on the blood and couldn’t breathe due to the nasal and roof of my mouth splitting open. I KNEW I was going to die it felt like an electric shockwave and an uncontrollable 15 second countdown. I panicked thinking that “this is it, it’s over.” I woke up a minute later and my friends picking me up and all I wanted to do was lay down and die bc the PAIN was MISERABLE, HORRIFIC, and AGONIZING. Long story short is I miraculously survived and had a facial repair with metal plates and screws. The recovery was also unbearable but I’ve made it through. I know exactly what it likes to feel as though you have a prison in your mind and I still and will always battle PTSD and trauma but all we can do at this point is fight, stay strong and believe in the ONE above 🙏🙏
