I remember my first long campaign of Vicky 2. I formed Super Germany. I created an empire bordering Paris and Moscow. At the end date, there was a massive rebellion, and the game just showed me the end card. lol

His armies maintained a technological advantage over it's enemies not seen since the Roman Empire. The government brought about by Waldermar was complete top-down autocracy with no room at the top save the Kaiser, not even God is above the him.

is Victoria 3 actually worth getting? Ive seen nothing but bad reviews online but still see tonnes of streamers and content creaters playing it. Are the reviews over reacting?

right now no, when 1.5 comes out maybe if its on sale. The development plan for Vic3 isnt "fix what's broken and then add more stuff" its "we have a plan, if some things don't work right though shit we just added more laws that no one asked for, here's another DLC that's over priced events." They said they fixed a bug, it was in the patch notes and everything but the fix wasn't even included in that patch because they forgot to port it from the 1.5 patch.
