Yep absolutely true and if the Japanese authorities didn’t reveal that it was Godzilla the whole time, it would get a lot worse and the whole globe would be turned into rubble by both superpowers(USA and the Soviet Union)

@@Emmanuel-ms8pr exactly. Apparently this Gojira is the one that evolved from the exposed heart of the first one. The Oxygen destroyer used in 1954 not only caused a massive environmental catastrophe in the water, but was able to desintegrate the rocky flesh of Godzilla, leaving the heart exposed which was basically a nuclear reactor core.

It really shows something.

@@eddieram435The Heisei Godzilla (the Godzilla in this film until Godzilla vs. Destoroyah) was basically created as a result of the “Skynet Effect”. What I mean by this is that the Futurians from Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah created this Godzilla by sending the Godzillasaurus on Lagos Island to the Bering Sea in 1944. A Soviet nuclear sub was lost near the same exact area in the late 1970’s and the radiation mutated the comatose Godzillasaurus into this Godzilla. The Futurians in their attempt to interfere with the timeline and erase Godzilla from history only served to create the very thing they sought to destroy. This is similar in the Terminator films with how Skynet sending the T-800 back to 1984 to kill Sarah Conner and prevent John Connor’s birth only served to led directly to Skynet’s creation and John’s procreation via Kyle Reese sleeping with Sarah.
