Man, this hybrid approach is something I can really get behind. I love the old analog form factor and experience, but getting them to work with modern workflows is challenging at times. A board like this is something I could see taking over my space one day.

Dave Harrison was a genius. I owned and used the prototype MCI that Dave originally installed in Buddy Killen's Sound Shop. The manual was a box of handwritten papers Dave made and altered as request came in to change some things. He just called that one a 400 console maybe because it had a quad mix buss. They had the MCI name but all the consoles were Dave Harrison designs. Dave was kind of like Leo Fender in that he listened to what the people that were using them wanted. Harrison Consoles was the culmination of all his knowledge from the past. Great boards! Nice tribute video to his audio pioneering legacy.

I worked at Westlake in the mid '90s. We still had some of the MJ 2" reels in the tape locker from OFTW & Thriller. You could throw 1 of those reels up, put the faders at zero and it sounded 99% like the record. I could immediately tell that the board had imprinted its magic before it was mixed. I love the BBSM's in the soffits too!

The Harrison sound is in more musical DNA than many are aware of. I love that this is happening. I have to say though that I would probably have a stroke if you were to release a compact version with half the faders, multiple fader layers and automation/DAW control.

Wow. Amazing. As a former owner of a 20 channel 950mx I am excited to see this. It's a big regret of mine selling my 950 due to having to move overseas :(. Would love it back. The utility and sound of it cannot be put in words. It is priceless in my view. The 32 classic could make for a suitable replacement though. Give there are plans for a smaller channel count of course. Are there? Something like a 12 or 16 channel frame? Great overview though and congrats on the launch. That's genuinely awesome.
