Here are the video’s I took near to and at the end of the show, watching the cars leave.
Unfortunately at the end of the Show, the Organiser of the event received an Email from the Showgrounds Owners, that people did Race up and down the street and that spectators were antisocial in their behaviour, i.e. Encouraging people leaving to speed out the Exit, to do burnouts & to do donuts or just to rev the cars. This isn’t tolerable and it sets a bad example, this is also how we lose venues as we have now lost this one for next year. It was also told that Spectators were told by security specifically not to sit on the side of the road and watch in the first place.
I did catch several of the instances of people doing Burnout’s and one 350z driver doing a Donut upon return, but as a result of the actions I have decided not to upload the videos of the antisocial behaviour, as to not give them any of the ‘lime light’ and to not glorify what they’re doing.
I’m not there to catch people doing dumb stuff, I’m there to watch the cars leave, period. Nothing showy about that, you just get to see the show go past you, rather than walking around the show.
