@@lydiaperea6406lol. Most people when cooking don't measure things out. It's not baking so no need to be exact. When the dough looks like that and feels firm but smooth at the same time. U saw how much flour not a lot and slowly ass water til it forms a ball. And also it depends on how many u want too. U have a tortilla press. Doubt it if u want measurements

I wish maseca was non GMO since it's available nearly everywhere but I order non GMO masa harina from Amazon. It took me about about four times making them to get it right. Homemade is so much better. I enjoy watching you cook and your food looks amazing.

A trick I learned to get them yellow is add about 1/4 tsp of Cal to the dough. I believe it's about 1/4 tsp per cup of Maseca. You can buy Cal at the Mexican stores, look in the spice section.

You need to make homemade tortillas three ingredients water butter and flour try three ingredients take it up a notch those are flour tortillas nice and soft and fluffy make them a burrito size and make some homemade burritos with extra cheese make some and make some homemade salsa from jalapenos in Sriracha pepper one or two then you put that cilantro in there with onions and use a can of Hunt's tomato sauce and then try that and make some homemade nachos with cheese regular cheese cheddar cheese melted nacho cheese and then fresh jalapenos on top of that cut up and take it up a notch put some😂😂😂😂😂😂my homemade salsa recipe

I stopped using maseca when It became GMO/bioengineered garbage. I buy non GMO fine ground masa harina now, King Arthur is my favorite but there are other non GMO brands. A little bit of oil added to the hot water will also make them soft.
