Love love love. My favorite part is when Bobby finishes his quiet talking part and Bill immediately explodes in with his emotional soulful pleading. What a transition. Bill produced this after they left producer Phil Spector. Lovely talented beautiful men. 💘 Thank you for your expressive reaction. 😘

Yes! Yes, yes, yes! If I ever get mad enough at my husband to toss him out (unlikely after 30 years of marriage), and he wants to get me back, all he’d have to do is sing THIS. Nobody can beg like the Righteous Brothers. NOBODY.

Great reaction! Even though I've heard this song a million times, I still get goose bumps. I sing this to myself every night when I go to sleep. I look over at my wife of almost 40 years and sign it to myself.

I remember them in the 60's. We loved them and thought they were a black group! Still today they are some of the best singers, groups ever.

Blue-Eyed Soul! All of their songs are done with genuine heart, soul, and passion. Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, the best husband/wife songwriting team in the business, responsible for Lovin' Feeling, Soul and Inspiration, so many others, from On Broadway on up. They wrote "Brown Eyed Woman for Bill, if you haven't heard it, please try it Also Bobby's "Summertime." It's a jaw dropper.

I always referred to them as the "Blue Eyed Brothers of Soul" on my radio show. I just spoke with Bill Medley last week in Laughlin Nevada.

They were inducted into the ROCK and ROLL HALL OF FAME in 2003.A unfortunately a few months later Bobby Hatfield passed away but Bill Melody is still singing and performing today.

This was their Second Number One after "You've Lost That Loving Feeling". It was also written by Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil but Phil Spector didn't work on this Song. I have the 45 and I used to play it over and over again.

Alot of Singers did Monolgoues back in the day. Listen to Kiss & Say Goodbye by The Manhattans. Also there were other Blue Eyed Soul Singers like Len Barry (123) who was also in the Newbeats with Bread & Butter and You Can't Sit Down. He was from Philly that had alot of amazing Blue Eyed Soul Singers. Hall & Oates, Karen Young, and Vicki Sue Robinson.

Dolly Parton, of course, wrote "I will always love you" and does an awesomely sweet live version in 1974. She does a chorus speaking and then breaks into full voice. Do Dolly's own version of her own song, do the 1974 live version. you might just be amazed...

A couple more righteous Brothers songs you may want to check out number one is a song they sang in 1974 called Rock and Roll Heaven the second song is a early 60s remake of the song ebb tide and the final song not sure sometime in the sixties a song called little Latin lupie oh.
