I haven't really thought about Eric lately, which tells me that he isn't a very good cult leader. One of the most important characteristics of a cult is that they make it difficult to leave, but I haven't bought his most recent books or watched his more recent videos and nobody's come after me for that. Everyone's free to stop whenever his content or his products no longer work for them.

I enjoyed those. I recently ordered Yaira, it looks good. I bet I'll enjoy that as well. It's not complicated. No need to try to create some BS convoluted scenario about how Rippa is making money. Rippa saw an opportunity in the market. He learned about it. He invested huge amounts of his own cash to create a business. Now Rippa is rich and creating the start of a comic empire. I don't think Eric is a "carpet bagger" I never bought his comics they don't really interest me or donated to his streams. I've watched him a on and off. Just because his comics/product aren't the best doesn't mean he doesn't care. Just an amateur curator who got lucky in the fact he's in a circle of people who want alternate media to do well. Rippaverse has a tendency to harness the power of low iq and information, most don't see it because this is a new thing to them, and sort of a gimmick. But as history has shown, they're trajectory is heading down the same path the Steven Universe fanbase went. 5 years ago content creators were starting to rise up and gained subscribers for asking the tough questions and criticizing them.
