In fact, FB / Google has been promoting terrorism in the Chinese market. The government asked them to review the contents of some anti China groups. They refused. When China reviewed goole's office in China, Google refused. Then they withdrew from the Chinese market and declared that China monitored and China blocked Google. By the way, when Google withdrew from China, Baidu in China had an absolute monopoly share in the search engine business, about 80%, while Google had about 10%. Google does business in China and is unwilling to abide by laws and regulations. It is Google's own choice to withdraw from a failed market. He lost to Baidu In the United States, China's tiktok company strictly abides by U.S. laws and regulations and accepts personnel sent by the U.S. government to enter the company for investigation. What did U.S. President trump say? Ask China to sell tiktok to Microsoft or oracle. If you don't sell, force tiktok to be blocked

Tencent has already earned a lot from the western market, they invested in many companies such as Ubisoft and Activision Blizzard. Tencent is also the owner of Riot and Epic Games, which means the famous esports game LOL and the new hot one Fortnite all belong to this penguin. Before the Wechat changed the game, Tencent was fed with online game business, there were 300 million players of their FPS game CF, and many million players of DNF, these 2 games still making billions of RMB a year after 10 years since they came out in Korea and bought by Tencent. Now it's making a game platform called WeGame which is aiming at PC game markets ruled by Steam, in fact, I just bought the PC version of Monster Hunter World with only tranditional Chinese in Steam which still requires a day to unlock, while WeGame users bought the game with a price like 60% of Steam or even lower, were able to play the game 9 hours ago with simplified Chinese.

Like what? specifically? After the controversy over Facebook exploitation of User Data, they provided the Cambridge Analytica with a gargantuan amount of Information that they can use, without a doubt it is an Institutional Property, but what if those were given to something more influential?
@theonlycaulfield
@theonlycaulfield 6 жыл бұрын
+Yonoume What do you mean by "without a doubt it is a institutional property"? Also, as far as I know, Cambridge Analytica acquired data through surveys using facebook profiles. The controversy was due to how the survey takers were never told how their data was going to be used. Facebook did not, as far as I've heard, just give them information.
