This is lazy legislating with serious consequences. Shame on Congress and shame on all the Presidents who do this rather than try to get consensus on a solution.

Remember when 1 month ago, House Republicans applauded President Biden when he sealed the borders through executive actions after refusing to approve legislation that would have done so....?

why does the Supreme Court and Congress allow the Executive branch make laws? why don’t the other two branches put a stop to this unconstitutional reach?

President Trump also governed through executive orders whenever he could not achieve his goals via Congress, i.e. the bumpstock ban. President Biden is acting no differently here.

i like the wsj, but sometimes i wish this podcast was a little more even handed. i get that WSJ wants to push a ideological point of view but it more often simply devolves into partisanship
