In the simplest of terms; they aren’t treating the club like a business, they are treating the Wrexham area as a life time investment. They aren’t just throwing money at the club - they’re improving the quality of life. Yes frustrating for opposition and potentially they have been a little brash in the transfer market but at the end of the day they’re adding value to football not just taking it out… like a lot of premier league owners, and other big European leagues. Kudos to them, shame more owners aren’t so involved.

Financial advantage isn’t a fair criticism unless it’s owners simply injecting money. The financial advantage with Wrexham is legitimate: the owners raised the profile of the club, marketed the club, and now can command deals worth more due to that higher coverage. The reality is that TikTok pay to be on the show and the documentary, and every news article about it, rather than to be seen at a 4th division stadium or on one of the few games that might be televised each year. They have a financial advantage because they generate a whole additional, highly lucrative revenue stream that dwarfs the “traditional” one.

Forget about the team badge and history for a moment. This story should happen again and again with multiple other clubs. Put the finances back into the football system as a whole. All the money sits at the top and in the lower leagues people just maintain the status quo and exist. Teams get poorly managed and finances go upside down. The end result is less football. Less affordable football for average ‘local’ people who don’t support the big 6 etc. and for the country where the sport and the leagues started that is the biggest shame. Keep the game alive. Keep the communities going. Doing what Rob and and Ryan have done can give other teams more than a fair fighting chance at promotion and glory. Then ultimately the fans who have supported their local sides their whole lives can reap the rewards and the special memories.

To me, this seems like people getting mad Wrexham comes up from the fifth tier, beating the teams they support, and dominating. This ain't EAFC. This is real life. There's no pay to win mechanic or microtransactions. Just two people buying a club and transforming it from a failure to a success.

Lots of fans in the lower leagues have to put up with awful owners, so I understand the jealousy.

Wrexham was a EFL team before their owners ruined them and now they have good owners and they are back. Any hate is (understandable) jealousy, but imagine being a premier league fan complaining about the owners spending too much money

Nobody can complain about Wrexham, they are an old club with a loyal fanbase, and their owners clearly care about the club too

I think the same people praise it when the oil money comes in and buys there club. This is actually done the right way. These guys actually care.

I’ve seen a lot of ppl say that Wrexham are a great side and are very astonished about how they’ve gone up but I’ve said that their team was better than some league 1 teams they should’ve gone up and I excpected them to last yr aswell

Why do other fans just hate on success. Good on you wrexham. Let the cry babies cry about it

Other FPL need to grow a pair stop being jealous of good ownership and a team growing. What these 2 are doing is brilliant for Wrexham, Wales and the FPL bringing in a worldwide audience which they didnt have before
