Profound as usual. We came to the river because of you. Doing our best to honor it and share with like minded folks...what few we can find. There seems to be a split or separation going on. Some people are just plain consumed by the tyranny of the urgent. It's calm and quiet here by the river. Time to think and enjoy life ...while much of the world is in utter turmoil.

Well, when you attain modicum of self-sustainability you inevitably get more time on your hands that needs to be channeled into something else. In fighting, drama, envy, keeping up with the jones, etc are unfortunately negative traits that assist in nothing. I'm actually quite surprised, I'd assume that people living on their own land in such great structures would be a lot more harmonious with their neighbors by default given their independence and elbow room, but nothing surprises me anymore. Probably a fair amount of ego/folks jockeying around for position based on tenure. lol It's all a very interesting business/community model from a standpoint of vetting and how you manage hours worked vs building and complications that arise-- a lot of gray area. I always thought of mixing your housing community with some sort of centralized manufacturing warehouse that provided jobs and also doubled as a large, water catchment emergency storage area. Water that could be doled out in times of low rains via truck refilling as needed. Anyway, keep up the good work.
