A random thing I thought of when doing this part of the quest. RobCo Experimental Cache reminded me of the Holo-Vending Machines from the Sierra Madre Casino. Same concept, use tokens/chips to redeem prizes. I know that Big Mountain developed said tech but who's to say that RobCo didn't get inspiration from the Sierra Madre models? Just a random thought. Thanks Ox for doing these videos!

The free radicals mask is a random legendary effect. I got an unyielding mask. Also as you go to turn in the last wayward quest the bar finally gets powered up. It’s cool.

Hey Ox, I think the treasury bonds (100) note was actually talking about the gold bar vendors; Which are almost identical to the RobCo prospective buyer coin operated dispensers. Perhaps the government requisitioned those from the RobCo Experimental Cache before being locked down. Just a hunch, since the note proclaims you can access the [INSERT FINAL NAME] day or night, without meddlesome human guards.

Mr. House shut down this project to divert the resources to the Lucky 38, which makes sense because having dispensable resources would be invaluable to his rebuild the world project.

I really love the opening has subtitles so you can sing along if you feel the need.

When it comes to the Free Radicals Mask, I did some farming to get it with a specific legendary effect, Unyielding. This took awhile but I got it in the end. I got every armor legendary effect but 2, Bolstering and Weightless. I don't think you can get a Weightless version as the mask doesn't have any weight to it.

I think this quest was seriously misused, they should’ve had more obstacles like a puzzle or something in exchange for better loot, I went to the cache and because I’m a rifle build I chose the rifle option and got a two shot, vats critical increased by 10% pipe rifle, seriously bogus and they should’ve set more of a limit with how good the guns were and how bad they were.

I like that Bethesda added that charisma option when dealing with the Free Radicals. It sounds like they are taking advice from the fans and making FO76 more like NV in a way.

It be cool if Robert Edward house in fallout 76 like a securitron showing up in West Virginia and gives out quest and challenge maybe the securitron can show mr house image icon on the monitor. Also it be really fun to see the early stages of mr house. But I always wonder since we seeing the early stages of the brother hood in place as well. What if there was a mission to take away liberty prime from mr house because after the war with China it was ship back to mr house so imagining that the brother hood of steel ask the vault 76 dwellers to retrieve liberty prime.

Hey Ox, just a heads up on the Free Radicals Mask. It drops with a random primary legendary effect (some have received Unyielding or Bolstering and the like). At least one member of the Bethesda development team has mentioned that this was NOT intended, and that the legendary effects may be removed at some point in the future (though, I personally doubt it based on past results)

I think it's a bit of a missed opportunity that those bonds you found aren't later accepted by the SS as a trade item. Even if they didn't get you much, it'd be nice to acknowledge someone who went through the cache. I could see it being exploitable, but you could always just make it a one-time dialogue turn-in. 100 bonds for 100 GB? That sounds like a nice little reward.

The best weapon cache one to get is the Two Handed Melee, with BLOODIED 40% faster swing speed sledgehammer! The second best is the Rifle option with the hunting rifle 50% ignores armor, and a 50% increase in VATS crit damage.

Fallout 5 should be in Chicago! Either that or a little further south at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. They have a super computer which was what they based Hal9000 on in 2001:A Space Odyssey which could be like another Zax. The enclave could be included as well as a more understanding and less bigoted brotherhood of steel. A brotherhood of steel that actually recruits super mutants and ghouls. I think it could be a pretty good idea but that’s just me.

if after geting the radicals face mask you leave the world before talking to duchess, you can repeat the dialogue with Roper exploring all dialogue options and choosing the effects on the free radicals face mask.

In my playthrough I had an option to send free radicals to the place I got Polly's body from (intelligence check I think, don't remember) so that I didn't have to give my new gun to them.

I know Wastelanders didn't fix everything but I can see the effort that has been put into improving the experience and this looks like the game I'd hoped it would be at launch. Okay imagine IF this took place after New Vegas and House's Body is dead but his Conciousness would have been transfered and diverted to this vault in West Virgina. The pulse (radio signal) would have been House trying to get some unsuspecting person to transfer his Conciousness into someone else an NPC or a Robot so that he could continue to live. I think that would have been a great idea.

Yeah-okay, this project lead guy for the RobCo "Vault" had no idea what went into a VaultTec Vault. This was more akin to the Federal Ration Stockpile in Boston. Number of inflections can be made here, these two project workers were either forced to work with each other because the company wanted to put two of the worst performing workers onto this "meaningful" project for competition... or they somehow managed to get House to actually approve of this idea through either "K" or George... most likely the former pitching the idea, and the latter being forced to tag along because he was basically a lazy worker. Kind of brings us back to Vault 7 in Vegas, and why House sealed most of Vault 7 with concrete... also for defensive purposes against sappers in the NCR... if the NCR or any other major faction had sappers.

As someone who is inside sales at a lumber yard and also manages inventory and pricing... POS is point of sale, but our computers are so trash at point of sale that we do call them pieces of shit.

If you choose the I couldn't carry everything out they would head to the vault and when you talk to duchess you can say they aren't coming back

I gave them the key (or map or whatever) to the cache but I havn't checked to see what they've done with it.
