Sub amps look good there Jerry if they do get hot wouldn't be much to drop a fan in there. Don't mind the mids/highs amp location either worst case scenario put some grommets between the box and amp no biggie. Bang up job as usual.

The salt doesn’t evaporate you could just add regular water to it to top your tank off and your salt level will stay the same

I set my sub low pass on head unit to pass through and use the amp. Bass sounds way better. Only found through setting on jvc and kenwood head units though. The bass is so much better though

Awesome job on that box guys. Very nice and clean build so far. Hey jerry, Where do you suggest putting my subwoofer level on my head unit? I can't find a sweet spot. My sub level goes up to 10db. And my taramps md 8k is set to 89 volts like it should be. Everything else on the head unit is stock settings other than the crossovers. Low cross is set to 63 hertz, -6db. High is set to 250 hertz. My point is, my sub (sundown X 18 v2) gets very stinky very fast and I'm only hitting 140db at max on music. It is in a 2006 toyota tundra double cab. I feel like this sub should be hitting 148 at least. Box is 6 cubes after displacement, tuned at 31 hertz. Any ideas why my sub is getting so smelly after 3-5 minutes? Also I never go past 80% volume on my pioneer head unit. Amp is not clipping. I'm lost on ideas of why this sub is not getting down like my other 18s I have. Thanks

All of the Android headunits suck in some form. I’ve installed hundreds of them for my customers and they’re literally all trash and nearly impossible to make sound good regardless of how much tuning you do. They all get super clippy as well. The best headunits I’ve installed that out there are Stinger Heigh10 and the Sony Mobile ES units but they’re over $1000.
