Jerry you are right about mdf wood an what I've learned that works for me is take a small can of Bondo fiberglass an make a 2in ring taped off of course around the top an the inside flange right where it swells up ,with the( Bondo) fiberglass. An sand it down with your palm sander ,it deadends the sound an creates structure to screw to. Love your videos

@wrenchaholic_ Жыл бұрын
Try using resin and keep adding as it soaks it up. You won’t have to sand as much. No real need for the filler. It’ll make it water resistant too.

T-nuts and machine screws to mount woofers in enclosure. MDF soaks up water like a sponge, so I seal it before painting/carpet/upholstery/finish. Mix white glue with water, then brush on box with a chip brush.
@amanteapasionado6836
@amanteapasionado6836 Жыл бұрын
The MDF is fine, it's how you mount your sub is the problem. You don't just screw directly into the MDF, drill some holes, get some t-nuts and use bolts to mount the sub, that way you can take it in and out as many times as you want without stripping out the screw holes.

Um... Paying an extra $50 to get a supposed extra 500w RMS, more power draw, weaker performance across the spectrum, steeper roll-offs, and about half the xmax _hardly_ sounds like the "better bang-for-the-buck" deal, boss. Yeah, WinISD can't do it all, but it can help... 🤦🏻‍♂️

The rule in woodworking is to NOT put fasteners near the edge, besides cracking, there is no material there. NO STRENGHT, so the issue is not the material completely, but the tolerances. you need to make/use some sort of circle jig so the cutout fits the sub better, maybe use marine grade ply, and epoxy some T nuts in. MDF is great for home speakers, IMO, but Not for cars, but I have a honda that hates weight, so there's that.

MDF is fine if you use it right. You can see the threads from the screws where the subs were mounted. Some of those screws were right on edge of the cutout. Your cutout was too big and you didn't use T-nuts. Soak up some fiberglass resin around that edge to seal it up. The problems you had are all down to poor craftsmanship.

Yo so u said the part about ur drop at "15v and volume at 32, 35 is wer u set gain and u dont go to that volume because it clips or distort witchever u said for urs." Tho u said before that, "one amp is 10th lower". Can i ask u why u have one amp 10th lower? But u said u "shouldnt of been clipping at 32" tho if u dont have dual pole dual throw knobs you will be +/-10percent on the one amp so one is runing 10 and the other is running 20 wich. If it were 2 ohm and 4 ohm uld have stability that way as it wants to be "dual pole dual thrown" "posative wants to go forward, negative wants to go back wich would make makes one amp high ohm and the other less, if it wasnt needing that type of variation.. tho ur run a rca box wich is gunna help to all that tho the tenth is the distortion cause one amps load is a 10th of the other in that time^ but thats to be rcas shielded properly for the loads which then drops more but in proper timing and symetry makes for unity. Tho of couurrsee box plays to it all and frequency tho. Most to a true degree fundemental frequency shows way too much at y u are clipping at 32, and the 10th down from one the amps ( witch makes for more percentage of differences which is more to one then the other yes, its not much but!, if u look into discharge rate of batteries and as well fundemental frequencies and fourier function/ derivatives u then see that, if one is not to be a tenth down that tenth down wen time of rising it rlly is infinitly rising at that very moment wich is happening alot. But not enough to make clip light go on because the negative and posatives are being drawn at right times due to ur tuning but! As well i said look into crating and if u havent look in to cycilic charging which im rlly thinking u could control that, and if u do so for ur batteries running ur subs ull then make for proper pulses in time to soc cyclic charging which... ppl like to say im wrong to many things but ... im looking into... EVERYTHING physics wise to any formmm of energy and fundemental But ive rlly looked hard and im seeing whith way batteries discharge and fields drop and rise, same as well trims im finding that we rlly dont trust what was used right to all degrees to what a handheld meter would show us. But look into if u havent too. Semi qausi dual pole dual throw or jus qausi bass knobs. Youl see alot to just nobs and circuitry most would i mean but theres sooo much more nd to our systems we are to degrees "out of phase to make for phase" but soo is everysingle other circuit.. so that 10th is the degree at witch is the portion odistortion thats in one of the loads due to the sence of "dual pole dual throw" (Im not saying u asked or have a problem with anything, but im saying like if u look into that stuff and learn it u might see it way i do, e=mc^2 (which is power in eqauls the power coming out tho yes ur changing it "tuning" but if it is same exact loads that is the reason ur clipping at 32 which as well look into doppleganger effect and that will show to the magnitude of the waves radius's tho if u were to put ur waves of "tune" in a doppleganger graph uld see that "if" its both the "exacctt" same ohm loads and ones 10th lower the pulse is "droping and rising to a percentage to--> (-/+)" which does clip too 1 and that is down a 10th from 20c "lets say" witch i said "c" that is from "C-rate" wich yes isnt anything to do with the tune but in way yes it rlly does have everything to do with allternatoing curent, wich is from the alternator and that is from "rmf" wich is the main supply but batteries is the alts supply too.. in order to up a field/turn on,turn off.. witch every thing has poles. (I am sorry ive said sooo soooo soooooo much tho in time if u understand this and see it or try to u will see how far off or bang on i could be but i talk in such a way with no "true propper terms" yet "the degree is there, and that is means which in real life means is "=" and in physics everything that "means" anything to a degree in force and electricity makes for percentege and degres and cutoff.. frequencies/ at which subs inside a "space the box is its fundemental freq which, if it is dual pole dual throw it wil make for that to be propper^ but all that has to be known. And im not saying u dont know, and im not saying "YOU LEARN THIS rIGHT nOW!!" Aha im stating the fake to the real which is physics wich is numbers which is e=mc^2 and ppl dont believeee it tho if its sameee loads both loads are clipping and wont see that they are cause they are dispersing everything evenly
@TheSpazzattack95

I have learnt sooo sooo soooo much to everything and im still learning. Long ago i had commented talking of sine and cosine asking u questions to it. U made a vid after that to using physics aha but yo ive learnt way more then i understood at that time, and now i have more corelation to time space and continum. Which almost like no ome understands... its truly trully alot and as much as what my shitty grammer and all would be^^ lolol but its crazy bro. Everything ive said may not be bang on but to degree that is function and EVERYTHING has its place wich if its same loads that place is clippage xD
@TheSpazzattack95
@TheSpazzattack95 Жыл бұрын
Or distortion but meh its soo lill yet soo much its voltage and curent but the power that can come in compared to the power that does actually go out then the percentage lost made to heat and distortion and clippage cause how the emr emf and batteries um idk wat its called yet but by the way it all like dispurses it.. ppl dont understand me cause i dont use right terms but! If u learn the above or no the above, you can make sence to it. But lmaoo stilll idk bout that cause its degrees and ppl dont understand degrees because they dont understand "what zero" actually is! Which is frequency and thats everything in sumthing that takes for electricity.. so i mean im rlly trying to give insight. But the clippage shows in all the above^ as for thats all it is but ppl dont believe in physics as for thats allllooottt more time then using the meter but if u give physics a go and get true corelation to everything bro.. holy fack sysmetry all over the place.. not even just in real life but on paper in 2d form aha but yet that makes sence if knew a degree to a form which is forces and endless posabilities.. but in electricity its known. And made and calculated but only known to look at numbers of a meter whitch theres truth to sooo much moree^^ and that is clippage which again not saying do this do that, im just meaning to a sence of motion and force and waves degree everything it makes for that witch to a sence can be made soooo sooo soooo much beter nd a 10th to degree is quite alot we may not think so but to heat it rlly is wich basically is in way cycilic charging..
