I wouldn't have such great taste in music if it wasn't for you Dad. I love you so much. I miss you.
@peterwise28145 жыл бұрын
I am in exactly the same position. My Dad introduced me to the Stones, lots of singles and albums in the house played through a HMV Radiogram the size of a sideboard. You could stack seven albums and they would follow on. I can recall looking into the speakers trying to see them performing. Lost my Dad last year, miss him everyday. We all went, Mum, two Sisters and their husbands and my Mrs.and saw the Stones together at the O2 in London. My Dad was struggling to stand for long periods due myasthenia gravis along with other issues but as luck had it we had seats on the end of an aisle and security kept the line of sight clear for him for the whole show. He was not able to catch them on the last tour. Wish we could take him to see them again. There were lots of people at his funeral wearing tour tee shirts or Stones tee shirts, coffin came in to She's A Rainbow, my 11yo nephew played Last Time on guitar half way through. We left to Soul Limbo, he loved Cricket too.

This is making me think that I saw this comment on purpose today because I lost my dad 3 years ago and I always listen to the stones when I am feeling down. I clicked on this ready to start the song and glanced down saw your comment and I was thinking 🤔 to myself did I make this comment on here... My dad taught me good music and if your dad is still here ...do me a favor the next time you see him..Put your arms around him really tight and tell him that you love him! I wish that I could still have my dad here and I miss him everyday. We bonded over music, so share this with your dad...tell him you are thankful you share music in common...

All early Rolling Stones had a blue sound to it due to f****** big Jagger and Keith Richards taste in music they came up with some of the best chords put together ever as well as Robert Plant, and Jimmy Page, Jim Morrison was an unbelievable vocalist and a poet which he really wasn't even recognized for but his songs really are poetry to me.....

@davidlabrosse96617 жыл бұрын
Larry Pitzer. also referred to as horse, junk, smack, H. Amongst other names. Yes boy included. as coke was, and still called Girl, the white lady, and other names. so yes this song is a definitely reference to some of the finer, and most hellish things in life. I've had my moments with both, and the combination of the two. I can say with certainty that I am a better person now for having been through that hell, and having put the spoon down. Though I wouldn't suggest anyone follow that path.
