I'll be in my basement room with a needle and a spoon and another girl to take my pain away. I have that tattooed On my arm. It actually covers up some of the trackmarks There's a lot of great heroin songs, But this 1 was my favorite.

That's a nice 4-way pic of the band. That is bassist Tony Stevens (at "1 o'clock") there, in the black cap. Problem is: Stevens wasn't with Foghat from 1974 to 1994. Craig "ThunderFingers" MacGregor (R.I.P.) played the bass 🎸 on this song, and on the entirety of 1979's "Boogie Motel" album(!). ✅ 😌

I am dedicating this song to my Godson who loved The Rolling Stones. He died recently of a heroin overdose. I am so very sad and I cry often. I play this song and think of him.

I love the slide guitar/ country flavor on this one. It was fabulous how the 80/1 odds, Rich Strike, won the Derby this year!

I never understood how the Beatles were such a big deal because I find the Stones to be a million times better. I love Lennon and Harrison but I just don’t get Beatle Mania.
