Wow Noah, this is amazing! I discovered Solange's KZfaq channel just two days ago from your website and I have been enjoying her videos ever since. Her video about over-productivity not being in my feminine nature really resonated with me. I was so inspired by her video that yesterday I decided I would have a day of just relaxing and not feel guilty about it. By the end of the day I felt more like my old self than ever - I felt rested, youthful, energized, excited for life, rather than the usual burnt out feeling I get when I run around crossing a million things off my list. Thank you for introducing me to Solange, I have subscribed and look forward to hearing more from her. Wishing you both all the very best 😊

One thing I really learned this past month is - this part of us some traditions call the ego, is really, my very best friend. Everything it does is to protect me. And if there WERE people and methods in my life that had neatly met my needs....that protective ego wouldn't have developed. We mostly reject it and this causes a split. It's more than just nurturing the inner child. It's seeing the intelligence behind this protective ego - were there better blueprints out there, of HOW to tackle things, we wouldn't need the coping mechanis we DO have. But there aren't. Every single "issue" someone out there has, falls under this umbrella; so I can't judge that person. I used to think the problem was with humans down here. No longer. The problem is the setup, the incarnation process and the inane positions most of us are put in. People aren't failing at being loving. They were never given the tools, or the ones they were given are NOT meeting their needs. The ego and all our habits are the only thing taking care of us, in the absence of love from others, and from help from "above."

A great idea Noah yes Solange addresses the codependency root quite well. I don’t think no parent can meet a child’s need 100% of the time. It’s up to as adults to meet those wounds, fears, and buried desires.
@solangebeaumont923
@solangebeaumont923 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Brendon! Thanks for your message. I agree with you that no parent can completely meet a child's needs all the time. But as parents we can give them the safety & love they need, if they are able to. And if parents can't do this, since they also carry their pain and trauma, we as children have to take responsibility when we are older. So definitely I agree with you!

🤣 Noah, I admire you because you have high respect for human dignity. There are tons of videos on narcissism out there, but I don’t trust them. They belittle people. That’s why I wanted a different perspective. You see things with a new angle. In a more caring way. That’s what makes you awesome 😎

The video was pretty helpful for me except relating it to my own childhood trauma. Any chance that when I am codependent it could be related to experiencing loss in early adulthood? Because that is what I have felt it has stemmed from.

Hi Mike, I'm so sorry to hear about what you've been having to go through. I can't imagine how difficult that must be. I am not the right fit to help you because I haven't had the type of experiences you've had, so I won't be very effective at helping you. I would recommend that you seek help from someone who specializes at helping clients who are using drugs to numb from pain and loneliness. It's hard for it to be sufficient enough to just use videos for this type of help. I imagine that it would require being physically with a therapist or counselor 1-on-1. I wish you lots of luck, gentleness, and ease with your journey Mike. You can come out of this. - Noah

Noah I need your help. Whenever someone sell there ideas or interest to me and the very thing has cause me pain in the pass. Why is it so bad to disagree with them and if I do show interest it feels like I have to become that for them to like me, isn’t this people pleasing I would really like a videos on this or if you can point to one for me I’m really struggling with not offending people from me being authentic. Is it good to be fake so to not offend. My e.g referring to gambling, drugs, being interested in sport in which I’m not anymore there plenty more
