Of course! We connect at the heart-level, and it's those deeper messages that bring meaning to what can seem like it's chaotic in the world outside of us. We can always tap back into the heart, and get back to that state of true inner peace!

Hey Andrew, love this question. I'll share with you what works for me - First thing I do is bring awareness to what I can control. The breath is one thing that is simple and always available to us. If we can minimize outside distractions even for a moment to tap back into the breath, and notice how our heart is doing, we can actually start to get in tune with what's happening there, rather than falling victim to our environment and whatever those circumstances look like. Once we can slow down and understand what's going on there, we can start to tap back into our higher faculties like imagination, intuition, and the will to do what we set out to do (even when that's challenging). The next thing I do is hold my attention on what I'm grateful for (my family, this miracle of a life, amazing friendships, having a roof over my head, and food on the table daily). I hope this is helpful for you, and I'm happy to create a video on other techniques that are helpful for tuning into that heart space.

And to answer part 2 of your question, I think this is something we are constantly learning throughout our lives. I believe that if I'm waking up and truly asking, "who needs my light today?" "how can I show up and more effectively serve people?" and, "what would I do today if I were already amazing?" then I'm on the path. It's incredible what happens when we realize how much potential we actually have, and we open/share our God-given gifts & tap into our true potential. Spiritual formation is something that is constructive (when focused on that way) and builds over time.
