OMG J, this was the song that drug me over into listening to their whole discography and it's a cover apparently? It's Suga's fault. He did a feature on Snooze on Suga's D Day album.I don't even care. Woosung's voice is insane. The more I dug in, the more I realized how awesome Dojoon's (keyboardist) voice is as well. They're pretty hilarious as a band together just from a chemistry standpoint as well. Love the vibe overall.

There's times that Woosung's voice cracks on this one and then he drops f-bombs like they're sprinkles. I love how authentic and funny they are. Can't wait to see them in a few weeks!!

His voice is stunning. I've only recently discovered them too. Softer ones are "She's In The Rain", "You're Beautiful" and "Black Rose", "Alive" and "Back To Me" are heavier sound - all amazing!!

Woosung is one of my favourite people of all time. Like not even just his voice, he’s such a beautiful human being. Words can’t even describe. He’s so precious, beautiful, talented and very dedicated to his music. I’d suggest to check out the song “I.L.Y” it’s got a similar vibe to Sorry and ILYSB. But also when 2 of the members did their military service he made some of his own solo music. One song in particular that I absolutely love is “Phase me”. It’s beautiful, relatable, raw and honest. Sending lots of love from Australia 🥰🫶🏻 I really wish they come here one day. Honestly… life would feel complete the day they tour here 😭.

I really love their "Back to Me. The lead singer also has a feature on Suga's song called Snooze. It's so good, and he sounds amazing. And apparently, he wrote his own part for it, which I think is fantastic.

A friend and I were talking about how hard it is for Asian Americans to make it in the US market and started counting up how many Americans we have heard of in Kpop. So many 2nd generation Korean-Americans have gone back to Korea to make it big, because there's just no hope for them to score in entertainment in the US climate. Starting with Woosung of the Rose, Joshua from Seventeen, Mark Tuan of Got7, Ok Taecyeon from 2pm, Tiffany and Jessica from Girls's Generation, AleXa, Eric Nam, Bobby from iKON, Johnny and Jaehyun from NCT, Eric in The Boyz, Kai from TxT and his sister Lea who is in Viva--the list is endless. All those people ought to have been able to make it big in the US but we blew them off. It sometimes feels like we write off so much talent in this country-the Rose spent the summer touring the US and Canada and selling out shows, so why couldn’t Sammy Kim get recognized for his amazing voice before he went to Korea to become Kim Woosung?

ILYSB is a cover they sang on their beginning, but it kind of stick on them because black roses love it so much 😅 If you like the more ballad rock, I recommend you “She’s in the rain” or “Like we used too” or “Childhood” or “Definition of ugly”. With their latest album “Dual” they’ve tried multiples genre, so it’s different but also very good 😊
