Hello Fellow Boating Enthusiasts, Friends, And Supporters of the World Renowned Shore Boating Channel: Well if you have a sensitive stomach or the faint of heart this area is not the place for you. Guys you really captured the essence of the POINT PLEASANT CANNAL !!! Those chterous water conditions & strong currents is nothing to play with yet we have young children riding in the bow with no PFD'S. I certainly wouldn't want to loose power in that Canal. Another great video guys, God Bless and my best to your families, TMP from N.J.

The other day I went right under this bridge with my Go Pro to get some footage for my YT channel and people on the boats saw me and thought I was you! It was pretty funny! Thanks for the awesome videos!

Just my .02$, the canal just isn't deep enough to move the tide and deal with the traffic. That tide rips at times. I've now travelled through 1/2 dozen times, with and without traffic. When calm, that 2 mile stretch takes for-ev-ah at no wake speeds but a good time to set up for fishing.

It's not churned up due to boats. They put the camera in the roughest spot. There are underwater cables and remnants of the old bridge. The the current is moving at its max speed there's always 3-4 waves there.

If thats how rough it is then they should rename it " not so pleasant canal". I also think I would have to traverse that canal alone as the rest of my family would be throwing up after the first go and refuse to go again.

A No Wake Zone is a crock of s - - t. It is a meaningless, unenforceabie term. It takes LESS THAN 2 knots, *close to an idle* , not to make any bow wave or stern wash. "No Wash" is technically no more than a ripple from the 2 corners of the transom. Try it sometime. In Australia we have some 4 knot, 5 knot, 8 knot zones, all of which make FAR MORE than "no wash". And no Maritime Officer can ever objectively, legitimately ticket any skipper for speeding unless it is a recorded radar readout, just like on the highway. Their verbal assessment from mere observation on the water would never stand up in court. A No Wash Zone is a totally bogus concept and water police know it. Thus it gets ignored.
