11 ай бұрынThe Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is an annual series of military tattoos performed by British Armed Forces, Commonwealth and international military bands, and artistic performance teams on the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle in the capital of Scotland. The event is held each August as one of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival events.

I was there, at night a month ago! Fabulous, words can not describe, particularly when the pipers entered crossing the drawbridge.

Hearing our boys playing the pipes always brings tears of pride to my eyes. I was very impressed with both the RAF and Norway's drill, absolutely spot on lads. Always a pleasure watching the Tattoo, though it does make one very homesick.

Been there, Done that . . W*O*N*D*E*R*F*U*L* . . . but missed the Lone Piper on the castle wall . . playing @ the end . . in the dark, with the spotlight!?!! Very poignant! (LONG TIME ago!?!) 🤩😎

We were there in 2016. Odd to see a day time show. As noted, the lone piper at night was moving. Plus the projections onto the Castle walls.

No it's the same throughout the month. Highly recommend it though!
