I live in New Hampshire U.S. I own a 2022 Royal Enfield Continental G.T, British Racing Green. I only have 355 miles on the clock so far, extremely wet year last year where I live. It's snowing right now as I write this, ten to twelve inchs expected today March 23. I absolutely love my Enfield, I am 67. I have been riding and racing motorcycles since 1968, this is probably the last bike I will ever own. I get comments on it everywhere I have ridden so far. I am 5'9" and this Conti fits me like a glove. I love the linear power of this bike, with just enough bark in the exhaust, such a lovely sound indeed! I payed $7200.00 out the door for this motorcycle, purchased in New Hampshire. Hope we have better weather this year, as I can't wait to ride my beloved steed. 🏁🏁 First on race day!

I own the 120 anniversary edition, also the 120 anniversary interceptor & Tribute 500. My original idea was to put them away & see if the value increases in time. However I like riding them too much, so bugger the value loss, they are now for riding 😃. I found similar issues with the riding position on the continental, however I have learnt to hold the handlebars with a very gentle grip. I now find the Continental every bit as comfortable as the interceptor. Perhaps I have just gotten used to it. I have been riding around 50 years, on a huge variety of different machines. These Royal Enfields are fantastic. Love your work, & the old man’s. Shiny side up. Hooroo mate 🏍👍😁

I've got a 2019 Mr Clean and it does garner a lot of compliments from strangers. I started riding aged 16 in 1985 and I've had some lovely bikes since then but not one of them got nice unprovoked comments from people walking past in quite the same way. Not always bikers. Like the lady in the video a lot of people believe it to be an old model from the 1960s. I've owned mine for 7 months and have taken the mileage only from 1900 to 2800. I've found that the suspension, especially the forks, have loosened up and now feel fluid and less harsh. It had cheap reverse mega pipes on it when I got it and they sound good. I put a Stratos filter and Hitchcocks booster plug on it was well as an airbox lid replacement plate and I detect a mild improvement. I plan on putting a one tooth bigger front sprocket on it before summer to make cruising a bit more relaxed. The engine has enough torque to work well with this I think. I've got longish legs so find the footpeg position gives my hips a bit of discomfort for the first mile or two until I warm up. Bars are fine for me at 6'. Brakes are fine but I've fitted EBC sintered HH pads front and back. Bedding them in at the moment but can say that they bite better already. Tyres are Phantoms and have given me zero cause for concern. Both the standard twin seat and the single seat I've got for it are comfortable for me and I've ridden from a full up to a nearly empty tank in one unbroken ride with no pain. Overall it's one of the most enjoyable bikes I've had. People need to stop getting hung up on the low horsepower figure because it feels punchy and isn't lacking in practice on the road. Great video. Thanks.

I recognised The Sun Inn as soon as your video started, my Dad had a photograph of it from the 50’s or 60’s. I’m rather ashamed that I’m now in my early sixties and despite having spent about 50 years of my life within seven or eight miles of that pub I’ve never been in it. I’ll have to put that right. Talking of uncomfortable riding positions, my brother owns a 60’s Continental GT 250. I rode it to last years VMCC Founders Day event near Lutterworth and it was pretty uncomfortable. When I jumped back on my BMW R nineT Racer, another bike with a notoriously uncomfortable riding position, it felt like I was riding a tourer ! I bought my Racer in 2018. No regrets at all but had the RE Continental GT come out a year earlier I would have found it hard to justify the extra money for the BMW. In the UK I believe the Interceptor currently outsells the Continental GT by a factor of @ 3.5:1.

I don't think any other manufacturers do as Royal Enfield with the Interceptor and Continental and sell their bikes with a mudguard extender fitted from the factory. It is a bit strange, but at least it means that those who love tiny, non-functional mudguards (there must be some since almost all modern bikes have them) can throw the extender away and start cleaning their bike, while the rest can just leave it on and don't have to bother about buying and fitting an extender. Still, I think a classic chromed steel mudguard would fit the retro design better.

I had the pleasure of owning a 535 Conti GT and then a 650 conti GT. Looks wise, for me the 535 couldn’t be beat. 650 looks great but the 535 looks PROPER. Everyone thought i built a custom bike from the garage and luxury car shows with Bentley, Ferraris, etc wanted me to show the bike alongside…little did they know it was an extremely inexpensive bike. In the US they’re just not common at all. Now, the 650. Aside from the looks, it is better in every single way imaginable. Power, build quality is leagues better, parts availability, etc. only issue I ever had was I was one of the many victims of the early release models with the slight wobble at mid speed. I believe it’s sorted now. By RE. Gorgeous bikes and I would recommend one to anybody at any time.

Kind of puts the price of Norton in perspective, with that and knowing its not that Norton has way over priced their product trying to pass it off as a more premium product than it is, the price has to do with manufacturing and product production, that makes it more easy to justify 1 paying more for a Norton, 2 Paying more to have a product build in the UK. good vid love the people popping in and saying hello and admiring the Royal, bit awkward but fun I guess.

Beautiful video conveying the atmosphere of an English ride out to the country pub but I'd have had a pint of Old Nogs Knackers.🍺🏴

The only thing that could have made it better is blue sky and a bit of the current bun 😊

I test rode this one last weekend. It sounds really great with the stock exhaust! Silent, yes, but it's comfortable! Can be ridden without earplugs. Not annoying others. Great thing! My test bike had some problem with the front wheel or suspension: harsh cornering made it feel unstable. A great bike for normal life, but probably the interceptor is better.

I have a riding buddy who just sold his GT for a Speed Twin, but has an extra GT tank still sitting in his garage... so I'm persuading him to donate it to my Interceptor 😅

Nice, unscripted video. I have a 2020 Conti GT down here in New Zealand with the Dr Mayhem colour scheme. Amazing value bikes that are holding their value. Awesome engine sound with aftermarket pipes and free flow air filters. I’m 6’3” and can comfortably ride two hours before needing to unfold my legs😊 Cheers Dan

I'm doing my CBT on Monday, based on seeing the Continental 650 GT on, of all things, Marvel's "Echo" series, this bike features quite a lot in that show. I'll ride a 125 for a while before going for my A2 and looking for a GT or an Interceptor. Great video, by the way!
