Will never forget Angela Gheorghiu’s La traviata, the first Violetta of this great production… spine-tingling and not a dry eye in the house. Her revival of the role in 2010 was out of this world, as if time stood still

Saw this brilliant production, the scene where Alfredo throws the gambling chips at Violetta the whole audience gasped.
