This is the first time I've seen her wedding dress. I remember I heard on the news when I got home from school that she had gotten married, and I was like, oh, well, that's nice, I don't know who she is, but, that's nice. I have to say, that even though its a 70's dress, it's WAY prettier than Megan Markle's Puritain frock. What surprised me was that she didn't have a veil over her face, like all the other royal brides have except for Prince Andrew's daughter who got married a few months ago. I thought that was tradition. Oh, well, doesn't matter. Lovely dress, lovely veil, lovely tiara, lovely bouquet and beautiful bride.

Actually in the modern wedding vows the word "obey" is omitted. I chose this version for my wedding. However I can only suppose that Princess Anne had to choose the old version for tradition's sake. Even that did not prevent them from divorce many years later.
