Squidge......... I subbed halfway through the 2019 World Cup. Before that, I was nothing more than a casual Bok supporter. Watching your videos completely changed how I thought about the game. You showed me the beauty of the ugly game. Your passion for rugby itself shows in every video. You're never bias, you just show your appreciation for good rugby. (Your Chile video was outstanding) Not many people appreciate Springbok rugby the way you do. Your passion for the game is undeniable. Thank you, please don't stop! I can't wait for the "How did the Sprigboks win the 2023 World Cup Final" video....... Never mind the "How did the Springboks win the 2023 World Cup" video. 😊

Once the world cup is over I would love to see a video (or a series!) looking at the evolution of how teams have approached tactics in rugby. I live in NZ, rugby punditry is everywhere but I didn't hear about the pod system until one of your videos despite the fact it was apparently key to AB dominance in the Henry years. Understanding what these shifts are, what caused them and what teams did to counter them would be fascinating. Like "Inverting the pyramid" for rugby

David Pocock is probably the other player I think was as great of a man as Kolisi is in terms of his empathy, compassion, and contributions on and off the pitch. I hope we don't forget about him just because he never won the World Cup. I understand your point regarding how you are measuring someone "as a captain" goes beyond sport, but it's worth noting just how extraordinary McCaw's achievements as a player are. He won 98 tests as captain. He won 131 tests overall. He won 2 world cups, and captained an undefeated season. His worst winning percentage against another team was still >75%. He only ever lost to 4 other nations (one of them, France, only once out of 13 times). His overall winning percentage was 88.5%. Over his 67 tests, Kolisi has already lost 6 more matches than McCaw did in 146. McCaw took an NZ team who were perenial favourites and chokers through their greatest ever failure and into a period of unmatched dominance.

I understand their reasoning for 7-1. I battled between 2 locks and 2 loose forwards in a 6-2 forever. This way they don't have to choose. But. Using that extra forward position on a lock is so so for me. Eben is the type of player I'd want around as long as he can be around. So subbing him just for the sake of fresh legs in a final game is so so. Mostert is also an energizer bunny workhorse that never ever let's the cause down.. He's played 80 many many times before. I'd rather just have RG "replace" Mostert, and move Mostert to blindside flanker if PSDT is flagging.

This 7 - 1 reasoning is doing my head in. Do you not really need backs?

Bro, I don’t subscribe to any entertainment channels on KZfaq and have never hit the notification bell, because I know how prone I am to addiction. This channel is the only entertainment channel I’ve subscribed to with a bell on, and it it pretty evident why.

This game is so close to call, that I can see a final where a 50/50 card decision against either team is decisive and ends the game as a spectacle.

They hoped Williams would be that back up scrumhalf that's why they tried him at wing in the lesser games. You just don't drop Kolbe and Arendse has been getting a high strike rate.

Hi there squidge Have a look back at Curtly Arendse's try against France. Pretty sure we played France's kick turnover strike love on them. The ball just hit the floor and Arendse ran it, but the rest of the backs where lined up and ready to ho if the ball came back....

No rush but I can't wait to see your video on the Springboks back to back title win!!!. 1 point win in the last 3 world cup games towards our title. Not the prettiest wins but a win is a win!!

I feel like New Zealand has a slight advantage as they had an easier Semi final and a longer rest period, but beyond that I wouldnt want to bet on it
