Thank you Squidge. Your work is really important for the sport of Rugby. Hopefully the greedy morons who have prevented it from reaching the maximum number of fans now understand they have been cutting off their nose to spite their face. Just like the Boks in that incredible year, never give up and let your love of the game and it’s stories carry you to even more victories.

They didn’t It was Wayne Barnes departing performance where he could give NZ the middle finger. NZ won in every metric or the game. They made the ‘bomb squad’ look like the ‘bum squad’. That game was won by NZ due to officiating errors. Some of which they have acknowledged with NZ management. SA did well to make the final, yet NZ won that game. What an insult to SA to gift them points unfairly and then burden them with the trophy that they didn’t deserve.

Almost like you got gifted the 2011 WC at home. If you want to talk about teams that didn't deserve a WC. Maybe kick your kicks mate, and you were even gifted a forward pass try.

Such a great tribute to that campaign by the Boks. Being able to find victory when defeat is almost a certainty in one World Cup playoff is an incredible achievement, but 3 times? Definitely something incredibly special. Thank you Squidge 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

As a overjoyed South African, watching the boys lift the Webb Ellis, celebrating..as the celebration died down a bit, I so wished that the boks & the all blacks players would sit together, pass the trophy around amongst each other in celebration of what both teams have given to world rugby on that & many other days..just to see both teams sit together on that podium in front of the world as the 2 top rugby sides. Green & black jerseys sitting around chatting having a laugh because, WHAT A GAME!

Jeeeewiz dude, your Siya Kolisi tribute at the end of the video nearly made me cry, I've always enjoyed your breakdowns immensely but never felt so of proud being South African before. I deeply appreciate your time and effort for making this quality content ! Also 'we' as a rugby community will miss Jodie Barrett and his contributions immensely 😢

Im so glad this video came back online. I was enjoying this video very much, about halfway through,my missis called me over and asked me to do something and said that the video was not going anywhere and the next day when I wanted to finish the video it was gone... Keep up the good work mate I have enjoyed your video so much and you have exposed layers within the game I have not noticed before and really opened up my eyes.

I hate to sound like a bad sport but I still don’t understand how the NZ try was not called off from forward pass. It’s clear to see 29:29 that the ball bounced forward. So all I can only assume that the pass was backwards. Landed and bounced forward and that does not count as forward ?

Soooo...Wayne Barnes let SA flop on the ABs side of the ruck and buggered up our flow. Played the ref I guess.

The first heart transplant was performed in South Africa in 1967. It is now believed that the surgery was planned by Rassie because he knew South Africans would need it for the 2023 World Cup.

Jeez, how much are you getting paid by SA rugby? No mention of the horrendous yellow card given to Frizell for 'falling over'? Yellow cards because someone got hurt?(The first nine minutes are just the All Blacks surviving because of a false call). No mention of the professional foul by Etzebeth for intentionally getting in the way of a try scoring situation? (Yellow card and penalty try, 3 on 6 there was no one covering at fullback) Come on man, if you are going to analyze - do it properly.

For the absolutely perfect elogy on Siya Kolisi alone, just to hear that again, it was worth the wait to see that video, finally, again. Squidge is the best KZfaqr in all of the Sports KZfaq communities. Period. The BEST! No one comes close to his unique blend of incredible in depth analysis (and making it understandable, even for a relative novice to Rugby like me, which in itself is a huge accomplishment), an abundance of quips and all sorts of fun comments, as well as his capturing the emotional side of the sport. Quality in every way! Thank you!

really hope something can be worked out with WR to get your coverage content protected for the next world cup. It’s unique, it’s not like what any country or network gets from their pundits and analysts. Instead pf being so stupidly protective of their footage, WR should actually just give you a more official platform as far as I’m concerned.

Looking back on this tournament I feel bad for Will Jordan because if NZ won people would be calling Will Jordan a rugby GOAT. In the second best team in the world, facing off against the best team in the world he stood head and shoulders above every other player. And this wasn't a one off, the man put in an insanely good performance every game he played

After listening to all this drivel I highly suspect if you ever met Kolisi you will be begging him to rest his phallus in your mouth... Terrible game that not only proved there was clearly a narrative in place probably from the top. But also reinforced that Springbok fans are the worst fans in the world of any sport, both the worst winners and losers...

I'm simply a neutral who has noticed just how unbearable South Africans have become, at least the kiwis at least appear to care somewhat about the game... South Africans only care about winning.
@jacquescoetzee47
@jacquescoetzee47 18 сағат бұрын
If they cared so much about the game, why do they spend so much time and effort campaigning to change it? If we acquiesced to their demands we’d no longer have scrums or lineouts, and the game would resemble league. Moreover, if they truly cared about the game and didn’t only care about winning, then they wouldn’t be complaining about having an illegal try disallowed… oh wait.

That try by Aaron smith should have been allowed the 3rd ref didn’t have the right to call it back as it played on past the phase . AccirdiThat try was in a more kickable position. But it is what is , I feel sorry for the All Blacks as an English supporter , they need to limit the video refs influence on the game. They need to take note on how the Aussie Rugby league final was reffed. Reluctant to give any cards and let the game run freely.
