The running subcuticular stitch is mostly used to close surgical wounds.
Here I am demonstrating this stitch with a prolene. This is to allow better visualization. Normally this stitch is used with a monofiliment absorbable suture.
It can be finished with an instrument tie, or a hand tie. One of the best ties is the aberdeen knot which I will demonstrate in another video.
