I live in Jacksonville FL and the Kings are my all time favorite team! I purchased the nba package just so I can keep watching the kings on the east coast even though it means staying up till 1am to do so. This game was worth the money, worth the lack of sleep, worth it all. Kings aren’t back… kings never left! They were just a waiting for the right moment and the warriors were there first meal to feast on!

Warriors were better this season than last season. The Kings grew from the series last season despite what happened during the regular season.

I can't be excited as everyone else. We gotta play the pelicans whom we've gotten beat by an avg of 20 this year and 33 without Zion on Jan 7th. If we get past them we've played good against OKC and the nuggets which would be exciting, but we gotta get there.

This elimination game just solidified a couple of points. First, that both are jump-shooting teams. When the shots are falling (Barnes 3/4, Ellis 3/4, Murray 8/13 3-PT shooting), it is beautiful to watch. When the shots are not falling (Thompson 0/10, 0/6 shooting), it is "absolutely dreadful" to watch. Both teams took the "let it fly" to heart. Second, that the key to beating the Sacramento Kings is dominating the paint points, something the g(OLD)den State Warriors were unable to do. But, something the New Orleans Pelicans should be able to do. It would make an interesting game for the Sacramento Kings if Zion Williamson is unable to play. Good luck Sacramento. As always, whatever happens it is a win-win situation. You win, you advance. You lose, you get to keep that 2024 protected pick.

Yesssss this feels so goooood!! Since the all star break, the kings have been swarming on defense and finally they shot well enough to hold the lead. Another game where the kings shot much more field goals than the opponent...and kept their turnovers down..these are very different from earlier this year. The kings are still limited in their offense and depend on their 3s wirhout monk but they are taking much more shots and need to really have a bad shooting night to lose. Kings are more playoff ready now but of course they still have to shoot well. Pels game going to be tough but its house money after the warriors win.

The Kings finally tarnished the dynasty of the not so Golden State, and ripped that crown out of their hands.

First off: The Kings did not "end the Warriors dynasty". If it's over, it ended last year. But if the Warriors come back next year with a vengeance, is it really over? Point is, it's either not over yet, or the Lakers ended it last year. Secondly, this iteration of Golden State is obviously far past it's prime. Time spares no one. This Kings team is supposed to be in their prime. They likely won't even make it into the playoffs. You all have a distorted view of where the Kings team is at because of how much you all hate the Warriors. Let's put it this way: Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors achieved things every other team couldn't even dream of. Their extended run rivals any run by any team ever, in the entire history of the NBA. Nothing lasts forever, but you know as well as I do that when they were in their prime, the entire league folded. The entire league stood no chance. Pure and utter domination on a scale never seen before. Meanwhile, the Kings, in their absolute prime, with a ton of advantages given to them by the refs, peaked at 48 wins a year ago, and that was literally their peak. They won't even make the playoffs this year. This was the worst Golden State team in nearly 15 years. Certainly the worst Golden State team with a healthy Steph, Klay, and Draymond. The shining moment of the Kings entire franchise history is a single 48 win season and a 9 vs 10 playin victory. That's it. For the Sacramento Kings entire franchise history. That's pathetic. Be humble. Appreciate greatness. You'll never see it again, not like it was between 2015 - 2022. The real talking point is, how does a Kings team in their prime need all of the following to beat an old, washed, short, past their prime Golden State team: - the refs to let them foul on every possession - the refs to let them hold on all off ball action (they were literally holding Curry with 2 hands at all times) - the refs to send the Kings to the free throw line for touch fouls - career 20% shooters to shoot 90+% from 3 All that just to barely hang with an old, washed, short, past their prime Golden State team. And the secret to the Kings rebounding success? They push GS players from behind when the rebound is coming down. For any other player not in a Kings jersey, that's a foul. Your hatred blinds you to the fact that the refs are the reason you barely won a 9 vs 10 playin game. While you may be riding high now, relying on the refs is notoriously volatile. The second the refs stop handing you a MASSIVE advantage, you don't stand a chance. The Warriors did the exact opposite. They were handicapped by the refs, rarely given free throws, fouled constantly, and they STILL DOMINATED. History will remember the Golden State Warriors for this historic dynasty. No one will remember crybaby Sabonis or flop artist/free throw merchant Fox.

Idk man... Huerter can't do what Ellis is doing on defense, BUT... Ellis IS doing what Huerter typically does on offense (seemingly with more consistency). I'm starting to feel like, if you don't outright move Huerter in the off-season, Ellis still seems to "fit" what the starters need more than Huerter does. Meanwhile, we don't have enough shooting off the bench, so MAYBE Huerter can fill that role, with less pressure on him.
