Күн бұрынAndy Isabella was the fastest WR in the 2019 NFL draft and was supposed to be the future of the Arizona Cardinals when he was drafted in the second round. Sadly, he has been a bust through four years and may not make a roster this fall. Going back in time though, Isabella was an insane superstar who was never supposed to make it to begin with. Today, I want to take a look at his rise & fall, enjoy!

I was working at UMass during this time between Tajay and Andy they were great receivers for the Minute Men, when I had to work during the Amherst home games ( the bigger home games were played at Gillette stadium) all you would here was Sharpe and Isabella on the intercom during the games.

Would love to see a video on Puka Nacua. He's gaining momentum as a major draft steal for the Rams. Originally played college ball at Washington, transferred to BYU (along with his brother, who was a starting WR for Utah) to honor his father, who tragically passed away and had been a big BYU fan. Really great story, and a lot more to un-dig than I've even mentioned. Seems like a perfect story for this channel.

Makes no sense, Wes Welker was 5'9 185, Julian Edelman was 5'10 198, Danny Amendola was 5'11 185, Cole Beasly is 5'8 175, Isabella is 5'9 188 and is arguably faster than any of the previous great slot receivers for the Patriots, Bills and others. I want to know more about the situation as it would have seemed that he would have been the next Wes Welker. The Cardinals only threw 13 passes to him his rookie year, 35 the next season and then 1 pass to him in 2021 and 5 targets in 2022. It doesn't make sense unless there were a lot of injuries or othere uknown issues. Hopefully he catches on with the Bills but if not, maybe Belichek will give him a look, all teams could use a Wes Welker type slot receiver.

Yeah it seems when they did throw him the ball he made something happen. It's clear with his 3 TD's on 30 receptions that the Cardinals just didn't know how to use him. I'm curious why Belicheck never tried to scoop him up. I think the issue was the Cardinals didn't know how to draw up plays for slot receivers.

He is currently on the Bills practice squad and so apparently he did not impress enuogh for a roster spot unless politics are involved. Right now Deonty Harty is their slot guy and he has 7 catches. They used Cole Beasley so well in the past, I am just not seeing why Isabella does not have a roster spot and role but at least he is still on a team and getting paid on the practice squad, maybe 1 injury away from playing time.@@maverickcheston8874

Bro u have to perform in practice to get pt 😂its simple he was getting beat out each week in practice. And if you check the metrics kyler perfers big body receivers he can rely on and trust to just throw it out there. Just a bad fit in general thank steve keim the worst gm in nfl history

Bro, Kyler Murray's top receiver in 2018 was 5'9 180, but he prefers big body receivers, lol. It just appears Isabella is a bust, he had the tools to be a Wes Welker type, he is with Josh Allen in Buffalo now but got beat out by Shakir. Isabella should have been a stud but sadly he is a bust. He had the speed, 4.31 40 and the verticle explosiveness at nearly 37 inches. He had the tools but he failed to reach his potential, sad.

Kyler Murray is a bust, under threw Isabella. All the toxic coaches and GM are gone from Arizona. Roman from Baltimore explained the release and how shady it was. Football is a business and things go on behind the scenes that the public doesn't see. Given a chance and properly used, Isabella will dominate. Bill Belichick would know how to use Andy. Hope he gets his chance with Buffalo, but as Andy would say, it's in God's hands and he will continue to give it his all and more. Such a classy young man that works hard. Some of the other players in the NFL should follow his example

His target / completion ratio is typical of a good NFL receiver so the premise of video is absurd.

Let's talk PED's. That could partially be the reason he fell of because he was coming off of them. Happens alot. Look at Tony Mandarich's career.
